Poker players around the east coast are looking forward to one of the biggest events this spring.
Earlier this month, Borgata and BetMGM announced big news that the popular “Almighty Stacks” NJ poker tournament series would make its triumphant return to Atlantic City.
“Almighty has been synonymous with Borgata Poker for nearly a decade,” said Kellie DeCelis, Borgata’s manager of poker operations. “It’s been three years since Borgata offered this type of event as part of the Borgata Winter Open, and Almighty is always one of the most anticipated events on the calendar that brings the same excitement with a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.”
The tournament series will run May 7-13 at Borgata and will generate over $1 million in guaranteed prize pools. BetMGM has announced online qualifiers for players to get into these main events for affordable prices.
Live event schedule for Almighty Million poker tournament
With an $800 buy-in, poker players of any level can put their luck and skill to the test with a starting stack of 100,000 chips. This ample stack size enables them to play with freedom and take risks.
Moreover, it’s one of the largest starting stacks for a live Hold’em tournament in the country. The Day 1 flights start on Sunday, May 7, and run until Wednesday, May 10, culminating in the field’s reduction. The players reconvene at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 11. Final players will go again on Friday.

The tournament will unfold at Borgata AC in the biggest poker room in Atlantic City and one of the largest in the nation. Starting May 1, players can register online solely through the BetMGM Poker app until 9 p.m. the day before each Day 1 flight. For those utilizing online registration, it must be done by 9 p.m. on May 9. On-site registration commences May 5 at the Borgata Poker Cage.
The tournament allows for limitless reentries, and returning players will be prioritized in seating assignments and Day 1 flight registration.
NJ online poker satellites award $2,000 prize packages

The rolling schedule of these events provides multiple opportunities to qualify. Starting April 23, players can win $2,000 Almighty Million Poker Packages, encompassing tournament entry, hotel accommodation and an additional $500 cash prize credited to their BetMGM Poker accounts.

Pick a card and Vegas Bonus
All players qualifying or registering online for the tournament stand a chance to win a $6,500 Las Vegas poker package for participating in the 2023 BetMGM Poker Championship hosted at Aria in Las Vegas.
Selection of a player will occur during Day 2 of the Almighty Million. The winner of the tournament will also receive the same prize. These rewards are offered by BetMGM Poker.
The online site will also offer a pick-a-card bonus. Players gain access to the Almighty Million Pick-A-Card event by earning 15 BRPs from participating in cash games or tournaments. The prizes for this event include:
