Divine Fortune Smiles Not Once, Not Twice, But Three Times On New Jersey Woman

Posted on October 23, 2019

Maybe it’s the name, Divine Fortune.

How else do you explain how a Deptford, NJ, woman has hit the Divine Fortune online slot jackpot for a third time in just six months at PlaySugarHouse.com NJ?

Her three combined jackpots now total $298,929.

Third time’s a charm with Divine Fortune win

So how did it all happen?

Well, awake at 2:59 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, for a red-eye flight, Pamela (who prefers to remain anonymous) placed a $100 bet and took a spin on one of the most popular progressive jackpot slots at NJ online casinos.

With that spin, she won $138,490 from Divine Fortune.

Pamela first hit for $139,852 back on April 23 on a $10 wager. Then she won another $20,587 just two weeks later while playing the same game on another $10 bet.

Despite her luck, Pamela seemed surprised by her third online jackpot win:

“I really just cannot believe it. The odds of winning once is crazy, let alone twice — I knew I wanted to try for a third time but didn’t really think it would actually happen.”

A benefits manager at a local energy company shares her home with six dogs and a fiance, Pamela said her friends and family are shocked. No one believed she could hit for the third time.

But her three wins on Divine Fortune are not her first. Pamela did win a $15,000 jackpot while playing slots at the SugarHouse Casino in Philadelphia. She was skeptical at first of moving to play online.

That skepticism has long since past now that she’s scored almost $300k in winnings from one online casino game alone.

Playing more is like wanting dessert

Pamela likened her continuing zeal for playing Divine Fortune to someone who has had a grand meal but still wants dessert. She said the most recent win was sweeter than “the best dark chocolate in the world.”

She has been sharing her winnings by treating friends and family members to dinners out.

And she plans to use these new winnings to take her parents and fiancé on an Alaskan cruise with the goal of celebrating her 50th birthday as well as her dad’s 80th birthday.

“I’m lucky to have these great people in my life, and it’s great to be able to have the money to be able to celebrate them,” she said.

“I’m just a regular person with a regular job who goes to work every day and enjoys a hobby of playing online. If I can win, let alone three times, anyone can.”

For Mattias Stetz of Rush Street Interactive, the site’s operator, seeing the same player win again and again is “absolutely incredible.”

“It just goes to show that anyone can win with any bet at any time.”

Divine Fortune a popular slot in NJ and PA

In New Jersey, Divine Fortune is responsible for more mega jackpot payouts than any other progressive slot. This has a lot to do with the fact that it is available on multiple sites in the Garden State.

It has hit 14 times and paid out more than $1.7 million to players since its release in 2017. For instance, a GoldenNuggetCasino.com player hit for $152,800 on Oct. 6. Later, another player won a $50,000 jackpot on Oct. 14.

On Oct. 12, a BetMGM.com player walked away with $98,312, only a couple of days after a CaesarsCasino.com player won $54,667.

The video game slot has also hit five times on Pennsylvania’s PlaySugarHouse.com, and all within two weeks. In fact, the same woman in PA won the Divine Fortune jackpot twice.

Despite all the big wins of late in both states for SugarHouse, the slot game continues to grow its jackpot.

At NJ’s PlaySugarHouse, the jackpot hovers around $34,524. Meanwhile, it’s possible someone else came away with a big jackpot win on Divine Fortune at PA’s PlaySugarHouse.com.

The jackpot once stood at $356,000. It now sits at $104,735.
