It is not a true Super Bowl party without squares.

And it is not Super Bowl Sunday in New Jersey without the free Super Bowl Sunday Squares game at DraftKings Sportsbook.

For the second year in a row, DraftKings plans on giving away big money to coincide with the big game. All NJ sports betting customers have to do is pick a square.

To be eligible for your share of the $54,000 prize, you must have a DraftKings Sportsbook account.

Inside the app, click on the “Big Game” banner or head to the promotions tab. Pick a square from the game card and then submit it.

The square you choose will turn green and be yours for all four quarters of the Super Bowl LIV. It cannot be changed. You can check back once the game gets underway to see your number.

To determine if you are a winner, check your number after kickoff.

The top row of numbers is assigned to the Kansas City Chiefs, while the left column is assigned to the San Francisco 49ers.

The numbers zero to nine will be randomly placed along the top row and left column. If your number matches the final digit of the score for each team at the end of each quarter, then you win.

You will have four chances to win at the end of every quarter during regulation play. Winning players from each quarter will earn a share of $54,000. It breaks down like this:

  • First-quarter: $8,100
  • Halftime: $16,200
  • Third-quarter: $8,100
  • Final score: $21,600

All winnings will be deposited into your DraftKings account.

What else you need to know to play DraftKings Squares

You do not need to be in New Jersey to play the game; it is available to players across the US. However, you must be in NJ to place any Super Bowl bets.

You must make your pick before the advertised start of Super Bowl LIV.

If, by some chance, a quarter ends without any winners, the prize pool for that quarter will roll over to the next quarter.

If there aren’t any winners for the last prize of the game, the prize pool for that quarter will be split among all winners.
