Spin Like An Egyptian And Win Big When You Play This Online Slot

We’ve got two new slots available at four different NJ online casinos, and they couldn’t be more different.

You’ve got one that takes place in the Wild West, complete with bandits, and another in the refined culture of ancient Egypt. The first has a great backstory, while the second is full of features that will keep you coming back for more.

Let’s take a look.

Lawless Love

Defiant daughter ditches dad

This is another High 5 creation that comes with its own back story, much like Golden Gladiator (reviewed here).

This time around, we head back in time to days of gunslingers and saloons. In this Wild West town, the mayor’s daughter falls in love with a masked bandit and they run off together. The scorned father proceeds to offer a bounty for the outlaw to get his daughter back. And so it begins.

Symbols include our masked bandit, his true love, the mayor and the bounty hunter, along with 5, 9 and Jack-Ace. You’ll also find a Wild — which appears on reels 1/2/4/5 and can come as Stacked Wilds, and a Sheriff’s Star — which acts as the Scatter and appears on reels 2/3/4.

This slot features a Scatter Bucks feature, which is the Wild wrapped in a banner with a credit value. This special Wild can appear on any of the 5 reels during the base or free spins games and each reel has a different credit value when it does show up.

  • Reel 1 = 25-100 credits
  • Reel 2 = 25-500
  • Reel 3 = 25-2,000
  • Reel 4 = 25-2,000
  • Reel 5 = 2510,000

You also have a Free Games feature that is triggered by 3 Sheriff Stars appearing anywhere on reels 2, 3, and 4. You’ll get a total of seven free spins that will take place on a different reelset.

The free spins can be retriggered by the appearance of three more Sheriff Stars, up to 98 games.

The stats

  • 5 reels/40 paylines
  • Bets: 20 cents to $200
  • Max Payout: $460,000
  • RTP: 94.9 percent

Mercy of the Gods

Wilds, Walking Wilds, and More Wilds

Heading farther back in time, we land in Egypt during the time of the pharaohs.

The reel is set in an ancient pyramid guarded by Anubis. You’ll find symbols that include Tutankhamen, scarabs, Horus falcons, Explorer, and the Jack-Ace. There’s also a Wild and a Scatter symbol (Eye of Horus).

Among the many features is the Gift of Life Respins, which occur when you get a Wild. Wilds retrigger a Respin and during the respins it becomes a Walking Wild, moving down one position until it disappears. Additional Wilds set off more respins, and this can go on for some time until no more Wilds appear on the reels.

There is also the Eye of Horus Free Spins, triggered by three or more Scatter symbols. While this feature cannot be retriggered, you can get the Gift of Life Respins during the bonus round, making for some pretty long rounds.

As if that wasn’t enough, there are also three Jackpots. The Mega Jackpot keeps growing until it is won, while the Minor and Major Jackpots are a set win at 20x and 100x of your bet, respectively. These can only be won during the Gift of Wealth Bonus game, triggered by three or more golden heart bonus symbols, which are collected in a coin display in the right corner.

You’ll move on to a different reel set and your collected coins are placed on the reels in a random position. During your three spins, if a bonus symbol lands on a spin, you will win a cash prize and it will become sticky. You will then get three more spins.

You need to fill 1, 2, or 3 rows with bonus symbols before your spins end. Fill one row and get the Minor, two rows and get the Major and all three rows to get the Mega.

The stats

  • 5 reels/20 paylines
  • RTP: 96.64 percent
  • Autoplay 10-1,000 automatic spins
  • Available at: Borgata, playMGM
