It’s Cinco De Match Weekend At NJ Online Casinos, And Everyone Is Invited

Written By Robert DellaFave on May 5, 2017

[toc]Break out the sombreros and keep the margaritas flowing, because this Cinco de Mayo weekend only, NJ online casinos are giving players several reasons to party.

No less than three sites are going “grande”, with promotional events that guarantee buckets of added value.

Here’s a look at you can get in on the festivities.

Golden Nugget Casino: Cinco de Mayo

The best Cinco de Mayo themed promotional event comes from none other than industry leading Golden Nugget Casino.

From May 5 – May 7 only, the site is giving players the opportunity to cash in on a 55 percent up to $55 match on all deposits of $20 or more.

As an added perk, players who take part in this promotion will also receive triple Golden Points when they wager on the site’s Spinata Grande slot. Spinata Grande is one of the site’s best slot machines, offering returns of 96.8 percent — and that’s before the monetary value of any earned Golden Points is factored in.

In order to cash out the bonus and any associated winnings, players will have to wager it 10x on slots (10 percent cashback), or 50x on any other game (2 percent cashback). Overall, this is a positive expectation deal that should result in many participants turning a profit.

Do note that the wagering requirements must be fulfilled within seven days, otherwise the entire bonus balance plus any bonus winnings will be forfeited.

Caesars Casino: May $25

Caesars Casino is shaking its own promotional maracas this weekend, with a Cinco de Mayo offer that can’t be missed.

In true Caesars fashion, this promo is about as straightforward as it gets. From May 5 through May 8, players that deposit $50 or more will receive $25 in bonus play.

The bonus code for this promotion is MAY25. Players new to the site can also claim a $20 no deposit bonus plus a 100 percent match up to $350.

In order to clear the bonus, players will first have to meet a modest wagering requirement of 5x the combined deposit plus bonus amount on slots (or 15x the bonus), 10x on video poker titles, and 25x on other games. The slot and video poker requirements are low enough to turn the house edge on its head; the table game requirements less so.

Players will have seven days to meet the turnover requirements, after which any remaining bonus funds will be forfeited.

Harrah’s Casino: 5x Online Reward Credits

Normally on Harrah’s Casino, players earn Online Reward Credits at a rate of 1 ORC per $20 wagered. But from now until May 6, they’ll accrue them at a clip of 1 credit per just $4 wagered.

That’s because the NJ online casino site is hosting a promotion where all Online Reward Credits are subject to a 5x multiplier.

What’s nice about this offer is that the credits can be redeemed for cash to be used online, or applied to a Total Rewards account, for use at any affiliated land-based Caesars casino.

Not to mention, players will earn 1 ORC per $20 regardless of what game they play. Typically, high return games such as blackjack reward points at a diminished clip, so it’s nice to see an online casino not discriminate against table game players.

There does not appear to be a promotional code associated with this offer. However, players will have to make a qualifying deposit of $25 or more.

Also, players will not receive their extra Online Reward Credits immediately. But rest assured, they will hit player accounts within five days of being earned.

Fiesta or siesta?

Given the reasonable wagering requirements, even low rollers will be able to clear the bonuses from Caesars and Golden Nugget in relatively swift fashion.

They’re not the biggest bonuses we’ve seen, but a combined $80 in bonus money is still nothing to scoff at.

The promotion from Harrah’s is also worth a player’s time, especially if they plan to visit a Caesars venue in Atlantic City anytime soon.

We just wish that Online Tier Credits were subject to the multiplier as well, as that would allow players to easily carve out a path to the Platinum or even Diamond levels.
