NJ Online Poker Has A Big Weekend Ahead Packed With Big Promos

With World Series of Poker (WSOP) fever currently sweeping the US, we thought it was high time we covered some non-casino promos.

With New Jersey operators now allowed to share player pools with those in Nevada and Delaware, the leading sites are starting to hum with activity. Naturally, with more players anteing up, operators are starting to roll out more bonuses.

To give you a snapshot of what’s out there at the moment, we’ve put together a rundown of the top NJ online poker promos you can earn this week.

Small bets could win you a WSOP bracelet

As we’ve said, the WSOP is the hot topic in the poker world right now, so what better place to start than WSOP.com. After launching its tristate platform back in May, the operator is now midway through is $15 million summer.

For those that are slow on the uptake or haven’t created an account at WSOP.com NJ, fear not because there’s a ton of value still left to collect.

Looking at the MTT lobby, there are still three online bracelet events you can play:

  • June 22: WSOP $565 Pot Limit Omaha Online Bracelet Event
  • June 29: WSOP $1,000 No Limit Hold’em $1 Million Online Bracelet Event
  • June 30: WSOP $3,200 No Limit Hold’em High Roller Online Bracelet Event

Satellites galore at WSOP.com

Now, if you’re wondering how you can possibly jump into the action with a small bankroll, we’ve got the answer: satellites.

Login to WSOP.com now and you’ll see that there is an impressive range of qualifiers. As well as low stakes ways to take part in the three online bracelet events, the site is also offering a ton of regular WSOP satellites. In fact, one of the most impressive is the 25 Seat Scramble.

Kicking off July 1 at 6 p.m., the event will cost $215 to play and give 25 players a seat into the $10,000 Main Event in Las Vegas. Sure, you’ll have to make your own way to the Rio. However, for $215, you could win a place in the biggest poker tournament in the world and a prize worth millions.

Even if you don’t play in the Scramble, there are plenty of qualifiers running at WSOP.com regardless of the amount you want to pay. If that doesn’t suit, you can shoot for a bracelet June 22 (yes, that’s tomorrow).

Oh and here’s a little tidbit of info for you: There’s another special satellite available for the $1,000 online event (aka Event No. 61). The OnlinePokerReport.com WSOP satellite is a $5 buy-in password protected no-limit hold’em tourney. It features a $1,000 ticket to Event No. 61 added to the prize pool. The tourney takes place June 23 at 3:30 p.m. Pacific/6:30 p.m. Eastern. Just use the password OPR1000.

Whatever way you want to play, WSOP.com has the answer, which is why it’s worth anteing up this weekend.

Go crazy for cards at PokerStars NJ

If the WSOP seems a little too serious, PokerStars NJ has a neat little alternative.

Running indefinitely, the Card Match promotion is a side game that runs in parallel to PokerStars NJ’s cash tables. Once you’ve opted into the promo and joined a cash game, you’ll be assigned a random Card Match Game Card.

When the card is visible, it will be filled with 10 slots, each containing a ranked poker hand. Then, as you play, you’ll attempt to win pots using the hands featured in your game card.

Of course, you shouldn’t be actively playing random hands just to make a match. However, if it happens, it happens. Eventually, if you can match all the hands in your card with hands you’ve won, you’ll get a bonus.

Although you can only collect one bonus at one betting limit per day, Card Match is available across seven table limits. Therefore, if you really want to get the maximum value, you can play at every PokerStars NJ cash game level from $0.01/$0.02 to $1/2 and could collect seven bonuses.

Become a weekend warrior and win at 888poker NJ

The final offer we’ve got for you this week comes courtesy of 888 Poker NJ.

Anyone that knows anything about poker will know that the weekend is the best time to ante-up. Unsurprisingly, 888 Poker’s promo team knows this, which is why the site saves its best deals for the end of the week. Kicking off on a Friday, the Weekend Warriors series sees $100,000 given away over the course of three days.

For the Friday warriors, there is $14,000 in guaranteed prize money spread across two MTTs. The first gets underway at 6 p.m. ET and is a straight re-entry event with at least $10,000 up for grabs. Next on the list is the 8:30 p.m. ET turbo, rebuy & add-on showdown with another $4,000 in the pot.

After Friday night’s fun is over, Saturday’s Warrior schedule gets underway at 5 p.m. ET with the $5K Opening Strike. From there, two more MTTs with a combined prize pool of $14,000 are available at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. ET.

Sign up and play this Sunday for some serious value

Finally, when Sunday comes calling, you can play for a whopping $54,000 in guaranteed prize money at 888 Poker New Jersey.

With two $10k events and a $4k showdown, there’s plenty of supplementary action. However, when it comes to the week’s biggest event, the $40,000 Ultimate Warrior is where it’s at.

Kicking off at 6 p.m. ET, this re-entry event offers one of the largest prize pools in the whole of New Jersey. If that wasn’t enough, the re-entry format often encourages aggressive players to make a few too many loose plays in the early stages.

So, if you’re able to get in early and capitalize on these mistakes, this tournament has a ton of value.

What are you waiting for?

In fact, when you combine 888 Poker’s selection of MTTs with WSOP.com NJ satellites and the cash game antics over at PokerStars NJ, there really is no excuse not to play.

Regardless of whether you’re a high roller or a small stakes casual, there’s something for everyone on the docket this weekend. As ever, if you’re not a member of the sites we’ve mentioned, make sure you follow the links listed above. Doing that will not only ensure you get to your destination safely but give you the chance to collect even more added value.
