Are You Ready For Some Football This Weekend? NJ Online Sportsbooks Sure Are

Sportsbooks in New Jersey are no doubt approaching the end of football season with some regret since football is the busiest time of the year for sports betting.

Nevertheless, most NJ sports betting sites want to close out the college football betting season with a bang this week.

BetStars NJ’s TD Freebie

Clemson and Alabama dispatched their national semifinal foes on Dec. 29 to reach the national championship. Both teams looked fairly dominant, winning their games by a combined 38 points.

Of course, a team has to score several touchdowns to administer a beatdown on its opponent. Both Clemson and Alabama have proven to have some octane in their offense.

So, BetStars NJ has unveiled the TD Freebie. With this promotion, bettors will have cause to celebrate every touchdown their team scores.

How To Opt InMoneyline bet of $25 or more on Alabama or Clemson
How It WorksEvery touchdown for the player's team earns $5 free bet
Place Your BetsNow until 8 p.m. ET Jan. 7

Here’s how it works

Place a moneyline bet of $25 or more on either Alabama or Clemson. This bet must come before kickoff at 8 p.m. EST on Jan. 7.

Every touchdown the player’s team scores will result in a $5 free bet award. This free bet will be good for use on any market the bettor wants, not just football games (since those won’t be around for long anyway).

The only caveat is that bettors must use the free bet within seven days of its award. They also can’t use it on Spin or Bet, Round Robin, Yankee, Lucky 15, or any other special type of wager.

888 Sport: Get a $10 free bet with a twist

888 Sport is also throwing some money at players for the national championship game. It is, indeed, possible to receive a $10 free bet for live game betting on the Clemson-Alabama clash scheduled for Jan. 7.

However, there is a bit of a wrinkle. 888 Sportsbook NJ is requiring some wagers on this weekend’s NFL contests before it gives out the freebie.

How It WorksGet a $10 free bet for live-betting during college national championship

Here’s how it works

To qualify, players must wager at least $20 total on Wild Card games. The denomination for these wagers is unspecified — presumably, a bettor could spread $5 bets across all four games, or load up one contest or another.

What matters is that the total meets or exceeds $20. Assuming that the player gets over that mark, 888 Sport NJ will credit the $10 free bet the day after the original bet’s settlement.

Make sure that the Wild Card wagers occur on teams going off at -200 or worse. Otherwise, the promotion won’t count.

However, with the free bet in hand, players must wager during live betting on the national championship game.

Just as a reminder, Clemson and Alabama will go toe to toe with each other at 8 p.m. Jan. 7.

FanDuel Sportsbook’s Wild Card insurance

Most football fans are partial either to the NFL or college football games.

In some cases, bettors could not care less about whether Alabama’s coronation will proceed as planned or Clemson will steal the crown from the presumptive heir.

Thankfully, FanDuel Sportsbook will serve as a backup for NFL betting enthusiasts. This weekend, FanDuel players can receive insurance on any Wild Card game parlays they undertake.

Here’s how it works

Players must first opt into the promotion. Then, they must make a parlay wager on the Wild Card games to activate the insurance.

If the bet loses, FanDuel will refund 100 percent of the loss up to $25. Hopefully, the cashback will help alleviate the sting of watching your team’s Super Bowl chances evaporate.

All in all, it’s another big weekend for football in America — may be the biggest outside of the upcoming Super Bowl. Make sure not to miss out on all these great opportunities to play.
