Exciting news spread this week as the long-awaited 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP) finally kicked off.
With immense enthusiasm, players are eagerly anticipating massive participation and remarkable turnouts. But that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to leave New Jersey to win some gold bracelets.
“Summer camp is back in session,” said Jack Effel, vice president of the WSOP. “This year was the smoothest opening in the 53-year history of the WSOP. If you’re ready for the action, we’re ready for you.”
For players residing in New Jersey, a golden opportunity awaits them as they can compete for prestigious gold bracelets from the comfort of their own homes. In addition to the thrilling live events, there will be 20 official NJ online poker bracelet events exclusively available to players in the Garden State.
Bracelet hunting has begun for NJ online poker players
The 2023 WSOP will offer online official events on WSOP.com from June 1 to July 16. During this timeframe, 20 opportunities for players to seize the coveted bracelets will be available.
While WSOP NJ continues to be the sole platform that facilitates shared liquidity with Nevada, players are optimistic about the possibility of a collaborative agreement that includes Pennsylvania. Although no specific timeline has been established at this time.
It is important to note that participants must be physically located in either New Jersey or Nevada to partake in the remaining WSOP events:
