BetMGM recently announced its next online poker tournament series that is on deck: the Summer Classic Series. The tournaments will take place in New Jersey from July 27-30.
The baseball-themed series will carry 13 events and over $120,000 in guaranteed prize pools. The NJ poker tournament features buy-ins ranging from $20 to $320 and offers at least three tournaments daily.
Garden State Series proves an NJ poker hit
The annual tournament event is a delightful mini-series that adds excitement to the summer season.
To participate, BetMGM NJ poker players must be situated within the state of New Jersey. Additionally, the series will be available to players from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan. However, the player pools are not merged.
Each state independently hosts its own online series every month. All three markets are confined to their respective regions, ensuring that players only compete with others within their own state. The guaranteed prizes may vary among the different states
In New Jersey, players have the option of entering the events on either Partypoker NJ or Borgata Poker. All three sites share the same player pool.
The main event: Grand Slam Tournament
The main tournament in the series is event 10, the Grand Slam Event. New Jersey will showcase the $215 buy-in tournament on July 30. The tournament comes with a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Besides the Grand Slam, BetMGM will offer Progressive Knockout tournaments and one Pot-Limit Ohama tournament as well. Each event has a baseball theme to the title. The complete lineup includes:
