[toc]Winter in New Jersey is known for cold weather and an early sunset, but 888 Poker and 888 Casino are hoping to add a bit of excitement to these frigid months by offering players a chance to put a little extra money in their NJ online gambling accounts.
From now until Feb. 19, 888 New Jersey will be running its Winter Giveaway promotion. The promotion will hand out some $35,000 in prizes over the course of two months.
The promotion starts with eligible players receiving a ticket to the $1,000 Winter Giveaway Freeroll and $5 in casino freeplay when they first enroll in the Winter Giveaway promotion.
Once enrolled, players will have a chance to win up to $100 each day by completing one of three daily missions at 888 Poker NJ or at 888 Casino NJ, which will earn them a spin on 888’s prize wheel.

How to take part in 888’s Winter Giveaway
Existing players will be notified by email about the Winter Giveaway promotion and receive instructions on how to claim their freeroll ticket and casino freeplay.
New players will need to make a deposit using the promo code “Winter” in order to receive their $5 casino freeplay and entry into the $1,000 freeroll that takes place at the end of the promotion period.
Once enrolled, they will also be eligible to take part in the daily challenges.
Earn spins by completing daily challenges
All 888 players registered for the promotion have the opportunity to earn one spin on 888’s prize wheel per day by completing one of the following three challenges:
- Place $100 or more in casino bets in all casino games.
- Play tournaments or Sit & Go’s with a total buy-in of $10 or more.
- Take 50 hands to the flop in cash games with minimum stakes of $.02/$.04.
Upon completion of a daily challenge, players will be notified by email that they’ve earned a spin, and regardless of which challenge they completed, they can then choose to spin the casino prize wheel or the poker prize wheel.
