Casino gaming at Harrah’s Atlantic City

As noted, Harrah’s is in the Marina District, which makes it an easy walk to Golden Nugget and just a short drive over to the Borgata. Indeed, it’s not that far to go down to the Boardwalk where the Caesars’ other Atlantic City properties, Caesars and Tropicana, are located.

When it comes to casino gaming options, Harrah’s rivals all of those other locations starting with its large selection of more than 1,800 slots including traditional reel slots, video slots, plenty of progressive jackpots, and a number of video poker machines as well.

There are also about 80 table games available at Harrah’s, including:

  • Blackjack, including Spanish Blackjack, Double Attack Blackjack, and a selection of high-limit blackjack games
  • Roulette, including both double-zero and single-zero roulette (for higher limits)
  • Craps, including video craps
  • Baccarat
  • Three Card Poker
  • Four Card Poker
  • Pai Gow Poker
  • Let It Ride
  • Mississippi Stud
  • Heads-Up Hold’em
  • Criss Cross Poker
  • High Card Flush
  • Ultimate Texas Hold’em

Harrah’s also features a 28-table poker room, although most recently you’ll find more often about 10 tables going. No-limit hold’em is always available at a variety of low limits ($1/$2, $1/$3, $2/$5), and the room also frequently spreads $2/$6 fixed-limit hold’em. Omaha/8-Stud/8 games at $10/$20 also occasionally run. Hours for the poker rooms are Mon.-Tues. 11 a.m.-6 a.m., Wed.-Thur. 11 a.m.-4 a.m., and straight through from Fridays at 11 a.m. to Mondays at 6 a.m.

Caesars Sportsbook at Harrah’s

The Caesars Sportsbook at Harrah’s Atlantic City is located near the main casino floor and features 3,800 square feet of space filled with dozens of plush seats and large high-resolution LED televisions covering the walls.

There are two “Fan Caves” as well available for renting out to parties up to 10 for a private service and an upgraded experience while sports betting. The sportsbook is open Mon.-Thur. 12 p.m.-8 p.m., Fri. 10 a.m.-12 a.m., and Sat.-Sun. 9 a.m.-12 a.m.

Online gaming at Harrah’s Casino

Players in New Jersey can also enjoy a variety of real money casino games online by getting accounts and playing games on the Harrah’s Online Casino site and app.

The site is one of the smaller online casinos in New Jersey with only around 100 slots at present plus a few blackjack and roulette games. When you play on the site, however, you can accumulate credits in the Caesars Rewards program (discussed below).

Caesars Rewards at Harrah’s Atlantic City

Like the other Caesars properties in Atlantic City, when you play games at Harrah’s AC or spend money on the property, you can accumulate both Tier Credits and Rewards Credits in the famed Caesars Rewards loyalty program. The tier-based program offers a nice variety of benefits and perks which only become greater as you ascend from the Gold tier up to the highest Diamond Elite and Seven Stars levels. You can earn and redeem credits at all Caesars properties, including Caesars and Tropicana in AC.

Harrah’s Atlantic City hotel

The hotel at Harrah’s features more than 2,500 rooms and suites located in five different towers. Hotel rates vary greatly depending on the day of the week and time of year.

A room in either the Marina or Harbour towers can be had for less than $50 per night on slow weeknights but goes up to $299 on some busy weekends. Waterfront and Bayview rooms tend to be triple these rates. Meanwhile, a suite in the Atrium tower goes as low as $100 or so on non-busy days but starts over $400 a night on those more popular weekends.

Harrah’s Atlantic City entertainment

Nongaming activities include a spa, pool, and lounges. The Pool After Dark is the centerpiece of the nightlife at Harrah’s AC every Friday and Saturday from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. Party by the pool while being entertained by top DJs and enjoying VIP bottle service. There are also multiple bars at Harrah’s, including the Eden Lounge, the Lobby Bar, and the X Bar.

Meanwhile, the property’s entertainment venue hosts a variety of music and comedy acts including The Hook, an ongoing show celebrating the Golden Age of Atlantic City.
