Atlantic City Sportsbooks details and hours
Find more details about all of Atlantic City’s live sportsbooks, as well as retail betting options at NJ racetracks below. All of the hours of operation listed below are Eastern time and are subject to change. Also be aware that at most AC sportsbooks those hours will be extended for special sporting events, and that even when the betting windows are closed you can typically still place wagers at the betting kiosks.
Caesars Sportsbook at Wild Wild West
The Caesars Sportsbook at Wild Wild West Casino is the largest sportsbook in Atlantic City. It is located in the lower level under Caesars Atlantic City in the Wild Wild West Casino.
The sprawling 15,228-square-foot venue features a 98-feet-by-18-feet high-resolution LED TV wall with seating for over 100 people and a bar with video poker. The facility has 10 betting windows, betting kiosks, and a VIP area.
The sportsbook also features five private “Fan Caves” built into the venue. These spaces, available for rental, can accommodate 16 to 24 people and come with entertainment equipment, including HD TV and gaming consoles. Food is available for purchase provided by Guy’s Bar-B-Que Joint.
Caesars Sportsbook at Wild Wild West Hours of Operation:
- Monday-Thursday: 12 p.m.-8 p.m.
- Friday: 10 a.m.-12 a.m.
- Saturday-Sunday: 9 a.m.-12 a.m.
BetMGM Sportsbook & Bar
The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa had previously featured what were essentially two sportsbooks with both a regular sportsbook and a separate racebook where you could additionally bet on sports. The racebook has been temporarily closed, however, so now the only option for bettors is the BetMGM Sportsbook & Bar.
The sportsbook features a large 40-feet-by-11.5-feet video wall and 17 other large monitors. There is seating for 144 people, six betting windows, and a full-service food and drink menu for patrons. There is also a VIP lounge, which features (among other things) a banquet area.
You can order food and drinks from the sportsbook’s restaurant whenever it is open. The sportsbook features fun promotions such as picking contests during the NFL season as well.
BetMGM Sportsbook & Bar Hours of Operation:
- Sunday-Thursday: 12 p.m.-12 a.m.
- Friday-Saturday: 12 p.m.-1 a.m.
The Sportsbook at Golden Nugget
Golden Nugget Atlantic City’s sportsbook is located in a 2,500-square-foot space that’s a makeover of the former poker room. The sportsbook includes 50 televisions spread across five video walls and seating for more than 100. There are also four betting windows and nine self-betting kiosks available for placing wagers.
There are promos like boosted parlays and in-play betting available at the Golden Nugget sportsbook. There is limited seating available from which you can order food and drinks while you follow the action.
One quirk about betting at Golden Nugget is that the casino does not accept bets on the Houston Rockets of the NBA. Casino owner Tilman Fertitta is also the owner of the Rockets, which created a conflict of interest for the entire property.
The Sportsbook at Golden Nugget Hours of Operation:
- Monday-Friday: 3 p.m.-11 p.m.
- Saturday: 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
- Sunday: 10 a.m.-11 p.m.
Hard Rock Sportsbook
The 3,800-square-foot Hard Rock Sportsbook is located on the north end of the casino at Hard Rock Atlantic City near the Sugar Factory restaurant. Within that area you’ll find no less than 40 televisions broadcasting games all around the area where limited seating is available.
Despite being such a relatively small space compared to some Atlantic City sportsbooks, it’s a great place to catch a game or have a drink. The full-service bar can serve all manner of refreshments and has video poker slots to distract you when the game isn’t going well.
Hard Rock Sportsbook Hours of Operation:
- Sunday-Thursday: 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
- Friday-Saturday: 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
Caesars Sportsbook at Harrah’s
The sportsbook at Harrah’s Atlantic City is a similar, if smaller, location to its big brother at Wild Wild West. The venue spreads across 3,800 square feet and features LED televisions on every wall. In addition, there is ample plush seating and food service by AC Burger Co.
There is ample seating available for following the action. For those who wish to bet or relax in private, there are also two “Fan Caves” available for rental. Each cave comes loaded with all the necessary amenities to observe games and has space for up to 10 guests.
Caesars Sportsbook at Harrah’s Hours of Operation:
- Monday-Thursday: 12 p.m.-8 p.m.
- Friday: 10 a.m.-12 a.m.
- Saturday-Sunday: 9 a.m.-12 a.m.
FanDuel Sportsbook at the Meadowlands Racetrack
The FanDuel Sportsbook at the Meadowlands Racetrack marked the daily fantasy sports company’s initial leap into the sports betting game in New Jersey. While bettors across NJ can use the online FanDuel Sportbook for wagering, there are a couple of different retail locations powered by FanDuel as well, including one in Atlantic City at Bally’s (discussed below) and this one in East Rutherford in upstate New York.
What makes this location stand out is its proximity to New York City. MetLife Stadium, home of the New York Giants and Jets, is nearby, too. Other than that, its other claim to fame is being the largest sportsbook in New Jersey. It also features over 50 LED televisions surrounding the Victory Sports Bar. Parking is free on days MetLife Stadium is not holding an event or sports game.
FanDuel Sportsbook at the Meadowlands Track Hours of Operation:
- Monday-Friday: 10 a.m.-1 a.m.
- Saturday: 8 a.m.-1 a.m.
- Sunday: 8 a.m.-12 a.m.
Caesars Sportsbook at Monmouth Park
The origins of Monmouth Park date back to 1870, but the Oceanport-based track is also central to more recent NJ sports betting history. That’s because it is where New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy placed the first legal sports bet in the state on June 14, 2018.
In terms of horse racing, the biggest event on the Monmouth Park calendar is the $1 million Haskell Invitational taking place each summer. Meanwhile, the Caesars-powered sportsbook offers a full array of sports betting options to patrons as well. There is seating available and the Sports Bar serves up food and beverages with an abbreviated menu Mon.-Wed. and a full menu the rest of the week.
Caesars Sportsbook at Monmouth Park Hours of Operation:
- Monday-Friday: 10 a.m.-11 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday: 9 a.m.-11 p.m
The Gallery Bar, Book & Games at Ocean Casino Resort
The story of Ocean Casino Resort is rougher than the waves in the Atlantic Ocean. After the property earlier failed (as the Revel) and changed hands multiple times, the Michigan-based Ilitch Holdings, which owns MotorCity Casino, the Detroit Tigers, the Detroit Red Wings, and the Little Caesars pizza chain, now holds an ownership stake in Ocean Casino Resort.
The property’s sportsbook is now known as The Gallery Bar, Book & Games. The 12,000-square-foot space features a 100-foot elevated bar and lounge, blackjack and roulette tables, and 140 feet of LED walls. Additionally, the Balcony Bar is the place to enjoy an ultimate VIP sportsbook experience.
The Gallery Bar, Book & Games at Ocean Casino Resort Hours of Operation:
- Sunday-Thursday: 12:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
- Friday: 12:30 p.m.-12 a.m.
- Saturday: 11 a.m.-12 a.m.
DraftKings Sportsbook at Resorts
Resorts Casino Hotel, Atlantic City’s oldest casino, celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2023. The property, which is one of the smallest in Atlantic City, has gone through several ownership changes over its long history. Resorts is currently managed by Mohegan Gaming & Entertainment.
The retail sportsbook at Resorts carries the DraftKings Sportsbook name and decor. With VIP seating and a 15-foot video wall, the 5,000-square-foot space also features 18 betting kiosks, five betting windows, and a live odds feed.
DraftKings Sportsbook at Resorts Hours of Operation:
- Saturday-Thursday: 11 a.m.-10:30 p.m.
- Friday: 4 p.m.-10 p.m.
Caesars Sportsbook at Tropicana
Tropicana Atlantic City first opened way back in 1981, and over the years has gone through several ownership changes and expansions. In 2019, it was acquired by Gaming and Leisure Properties and Eldorado Resorts as part of a $1.85-billion deal. As of 2020, the property is now of three Caesars Entertainment properties in Atlantic City.
The sportsbook is operated by Caesars and includes 180 seats, a large video wall featuring panoramic LED screens, and a 250-square-foot odds board. It is located near Chickie’s and Pete’s Crab House & Sports Bar.
Caesars Sportsbook at Tropicana Hours of Operation:
- Saturday-Sunday: 9 a.m.-12 a.m.
- Monday: 10 a.m.-12 a.m.
- Tuesday-Wednesday: 12 p.m.-8 p.m.
- Thursday-Friday: 10 a.m.-12 a.m.
Bally Bet Sportsbook (FanDuel Sportsbook)
Bally’s Atlantic City opened its doors in 1979, one of the first casinos in Atlantic City. Once Bally’s became part of the Bally’s Corporation (formerly Twin River Worldwide) in 2020, the former Caesars property had the option to add its own sportsbook.
The permanent 4,100-square-foot Bally Bet Sportsbook opened in early 2021. Powered by FanDuel, the sportsbook features a central 25-foot-wide LED video wall, 20 IGT PlaySports self-serve betting kiosks, live betting windows, a luxury 80-seat lounge with 30 reclining club chair, plus a full food and beverage menu that includes self-service craft beer.
Bally Bet Sportsbook (FanDuel Sportsbook) Hours of Operation:
- Sunday: 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
- Monday-Thursday: 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Friday-Saturday: 11 a.m.-11 p.m.
