Four Atlantic City properties are in the running for USA TODAY 10Best’s list of the best casino hotels in the country.
USA TODAY’s expert panel said the nominated Atlantic City casino properties
“offer the best of all worlds: top-notch gaming, excellent amenities and first-rate accommodations.”
USA TODAY 10Best Nominee List and Voting Timeline
The 20-property nominee list includes:
- Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa
- Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City
- Ocean Casino Resort
- Resorts Casino Hotel
Public voting will determine which 10 hotels advance. USA TODAY 10Best is accepting votes until noon on Monday, Aug. 24. The winners are scheduled to be announced Wednesday, Sept. 2.
What Stood Out About the Atlantic City Nominees
Atlantic City resorts cover a wide range of amenities beyond the casino floor.
Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa – For luxe amenities, Atlantic Ocean views in many rooms, a large casino, spa, swimming pools, retail options, and restaurants including Angeline by Michael Symon.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City – For its gaming floor. The floor includes more than 2,000 slot machines and over 100 table games, including an Asian gaming room.
Ocean Casino Resort – For its Eclipse Indoor/Outdoor Pool, private cabanas, Exhale Spa + Bathhouse, restaurants, nightlife, Ovation Hall entertainment, and what the property says is the country’s largest TopGolf Swing Suite.
Resorts Casino Hotel – For its 80,000 square feet of gaming space. The property also has an indoor/outdoor rooftop pool, entertainment venues, restaurants, a spa, fitness center, and health club.
Bottom Line
For Atlantic City, the nominations put four Boardwalk and marina-area casino hotels into a national travel and gaming ranking at once. The next milestone is whether any or all of them make the final top 10.
