New Jersey bettors can pursue a share of $50,000 in weekly bonus bets through Ultimate Teams, a new free-to-play football promotion from BetMGM.
The game gives New Jersey NFL bettors an assigned point spread each weekday. Players who collect five teams and have all of them cover qualify for a portion of the jackpot, but a perfect card is not required to receive a reward.
Anyone with an eligible BetMGM Sportsbook account can participate without paying an entry fee or placing a qualifying wager. The promotion began Sept. 7 and is scheduled to run through Jan. 18.

Ultimate Teams offers prizes before a perfect card
BetMGM’s Ultimate Teams promotion uses a two-level prize structure.
The weekly $50,000 bonus-bet pool is available only to participants whose complete five-team cards go undefeated against the spread. Every customer who meets that requirement becomes eligible for a share of the jackpot rather than competing for a single winner-take-all prize.
Other participants can still earn something from the game. Having at least one assigned team cover is enough to receive a reward, even if the customer misses an entry period or another team on the card fails to cover.
Available prizes include bonus bets, odds boosts, parlay boosts, and same-game parlay boosts. The specific reward depends on the results of the customer’s assigned teams.
Teams are judged against their listed spreads rather than solely by whether they win their games. For example, an underdog could lose by fewer points than the assigned spread and still produce a successful selection. A favorite may need to win by more than the listed margin to cover.
That format allows customers to earn a prize with an incomplete or imperfect card while reserving the largest reward for players who participate throughout the week and finish five-for-five.
Jackpot eligibility requires five weekday visits
Instead of providing a complete card in one session, Ultimate Teams distributes one team and point spread during each weekday entry period.
Customers must log in to BetMGM, open the Promotions section and select Ultimate Teams to receive that day’s assignment. Each eligible player is limited to one entry during every daily window.
The Monday window opens at 5 p.m. and closes at 11:59 p.m. ET. From Tuesday through Friday, customers can play between midnight and 11:59 p.m. ET.
Each entry is added to the same weekly card. A customer who participates every weekday finishes with five NFL teams, while someone who misses a day continues with a shorter card.
Missing an entry does not disqualify the player from the entire promotion. The customer can return during a later weekday window and remains eligible for a prize if at least one collected team covers.
It does, however, remove the possibility of claiming part of that week’s jackpot. A player must collect all five available teams before having an opportunity to qualify for the $50,000 pool.
Earned rewards expire within four days
New Jersey customers have 96 hours to use any prize earned through Ultimate Teams. Rewards that are not redeemed during that period expire.
BetMGM also restricts the prizes to eligible NFL markets. Bonus bets and boosts earned through the game cannot be used on college football or another professional sport.
The limitation applies to every available reward, including odds boosts, parlay boosts, same-game parlay boosts, and bonus bets distributed from the weekly jackpot.
Ultimate Teams will continue operating each weekday through Jan. 18. The promotion’s final entry window is scheduled to close at 11:59 p.m. ET.
