The SandPaper reported this week that Brass Transit is scheduled to make a stop at Bally’s Atlantic City as part of its upcoming tour. Brass Transit is a Toronto-based Chicago tribute band.
The band will perform at the Stafford Township Arts Center on Aug. 6, 7:30 p.m.

Brass Transit has toured North America since 2008. The eight-member group includes
- Band leader and trumpeter – Tony Carlucci
- Trombonist – Doug Gibson
- Lead vocalist – Ian Jutsun
- Saxophonist – Phil Poppa
- Bassist – Jay Speziale
- Keyboard player – Don Breithaupt
- Drummer – Paul Delong
- Guitarist – Silvio Simone
Audiences can expect a set built around Chicago hits including “25 or 6 to 4,” “Saturday in the Park,” “Beginnings,” “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is,” “Feelin’ Stronger Every Day,” and “(I’ve Been) Searching So Long.”
A reviewer for Atlantic City Weekly described the act this way:
“Brass Transit’s pure musicality envelops the audience from the very first note and delivers a spine tingling experience.”
Tour Dates and Stafford Township Ticket Information
The report also noted the band is due to appear in Ocean City with the Ocean City Pops Orchestra in the coming months. Other upcoming dates include stops in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Ontario, California, and New York state.
