Most sportsbook rewards programs only pay attention to a bet after it wins. Fanatics Sportsbook New Jersey doesn’t wait that long.

FanCash is the operator’s ongoing loyalty currency, separate from the football season’s dated promotions, and it credits an account on every settled wager placed at New Jersey sportsbooks, regardless of outcome. The rate scales with the odds taken on the bet.

Week 0 of college football betting in New Jersey starts this week, Saturday, Aug. 29, ahead of the sport’s first full Saturday slate on Sept. 5. NFL sports betting in New Jersey follows just over a week after that, spread across four game days this year.

It’s the busiest wagering stretch of the year, and FanCash is earned on every bet placed through Fanatics Sportsbook NJ, win or lose.

What does that earn rate actually look like on a real bet?

A short-odds wager, something at -110 or tighter, returns 0.01% to 1% back. Odds between -105 and +600 return 1% to 3%. Push further out, to the +610 to +2,100 range, and the rate climbs to 3% to 6%, topping out around 9% to 10% on anything beyond +4,750.

A $50 bet at +1,200 sits in the upper tier of that range, and at a 5% earn rate, returns $2.50 in FanCash whether the bet cashes or not. It’s a small number on its own, but it compounds across a season of betting activity, on wins or losses.

What makes FanCash different from other operators’ loyalty points?

DraftKings, BetMGM, and Caesars all run comparable systems. On Dynasty Rewards, BetMGM Rewards, and Caesars Rewards, players accrue points on handle rather than results, with each converting eventually into bonus betting funds. Fanatics is the only New Jersey sports betting promotion that rewards every bet placed. Where FanCash actually splits off from the pack is in what it becomes.

Bettors can redeem FanCash at roughly a 1 to 1 rate, either back into bonus bets at Fanatics Sportsbook or across Fanatics’ retail side: apparel, trading cards, event tickets, memorabilia. The casino-affiliated operators route their rewards toward hotel stays, dining credits, or casino perks. Fanatics owns a merchandise business, not a casino floor, and FanCash spends accordingly.

FanCash doesn’t sit forever. It expires Dec. 31 of the calendar year it was earned unless redeemed before then, and any bonus bet converted from it expires 90 days after that conversion.

Read the full terms and conditions before opting into the program to see whether it lines up with how you actually bet. The operator requires bettors to be 21 or older and physically in the state.

New Jersey’s sports betting market has spent years rewarding bettors mostly through signup offers built to disappear after the first few weeks.

FanCash, on the other hand, is designed to last a long time, accumulating throughout the year.
