FanDuel Sportsbook is bringing its betting markets to Real App through a partnership connecting the platform’s live sports coverage with FanDuel’s sportsbook and prediction market products.
New Jersey users will be able to view FanDuel odds and markets across Real’s game feeds, player-performance screens, and team box scores. Selecting a market will take eligible users to the applicable FanDuel product, including FanDuel Sportsbook.
FanDuel and Real announced the partnership on Sept. 10. Under the agreement, FanDuel becomes Real’s first official and exclusive sportsbook and prediction market partner.
The integration is beginning during the 2026 NFL betting season, with both companies planning to expand it in the future.

Real combines live sports coverage with fan discussions
Real provides play-by-play updates, statistics, and social features that allow users to follow and discuss games in real time. The app covers 18 leagues, including the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, WNBA, college sports, and global soccer.
Real says it has more than 1.5 million monthly active users, with more than 70% returning on major game days. The app has also drawn more than 250,000 users at once during close games.
The FanDuel integration will place betting information within the parts of Real that members already use during games. Odds, markets, and related displays will appear across live game feeds, individual play views, player-performance screens, and team box scores.
Real will also display betting markets connected to important moments as games develop. The companies plan to incorporate FanDuel’s usual odds presentation into Real’s existing design, adding betting information without disrupting the app’s current experience.
Betting features can be switched off
Real co-founder Louis Antonelli said members had requested live odds because many already use the app to track and discuss their bets.
The FanDuel features will remain optional. Real members who do not want to see FanDuel odds or betting markets can disable the features through the app’s settings.
FanDuel said its existing responsible gambling tools help customers set appropriate limits and manage their activity.
Both companies said entertainment will remain the primary focus of the Real experience.
New Jersey sports bettors will be directed to FanDuel Sportsbook
Although the agreement includes FanDuel’s prediction market business, it does not mark the arrival of FanDuel sports event contracts in New Jersey.
FanDuel said when announcing FanDuel Predicts that sports contracts would only be offered in states without legal online sports betting. New Jersey has permitted online sportsbooks since 2018, meaning FanDuel Sportsbook remains the relevant product for sports wagering in the state.
FanDuel Predicts operates separately from the sportsbook and can offer contracts based on non-sports events. Availability varies by location, and the Real announcement did not identify which FanDuel products or individual markets will appear for users in each state.
NFL season begins first phase of integration
The NFL season will serve as the first phase of the FanDuel integration, although the agreement is not limited to professional football.
Real also follows basketball, hockey, baseball, college sports, soccer, tennis, and other competitions. Formula 1 and horse racing coverage are also expected to join the platform.
FanDuel and Real committed to further integrations but did not announce a timetable or identify which sports and features will be added next. Until then, the NFL rollout will provide the first look at how FanDuel markets fit into Real’s live sports coverage.
