Hard Rock Hotstepper was the most-played online casino game at Hard Rock Bet in New Jersey during August, retaining the top position for the second consecutive month.

The White Hat Studios slot led an unchanged top-three Hard Rock Bet Casino NJ games. Two titles released during August also attracted enough players to enter the operator’s combined top 10 during their first month.

Hard Rock Bet based the rankings on the number of individual players who played each title, rather than wagering volume or revenue.

Its full leaderboard and month-to-month movement figures combine player totals from New Jersey and Michigan, although the same five games ranked in the same order in each state.

Pigs and wolves behind Hotstepper

Hard Rock Hotstepper remained ahead of Playtech’s Oink Oink Oink and Wolf it up Again!, which held second and third place, respectively.

On the combined leaderboard, Money Link Moon Goddess and Cash Eruption completed the top five after each climbed one position from July.

The operator’s August player report listed the following top 10:

  1. Hard Rock Hotstepper
  2. Oink Oink Oink
  3. Wolf it up Again!
  4. Money Link Moon Goddess
  5. Cash Eruption
  6. Huff N’ Puff Money Mansion
  7. Shark Pop: Coin Collect
  8. Huff N’ Even More Puff
  9. Bankin’ Bacon Pigs Might Fly
  10. 4 Crazy Cluckers

Two new games break into top 10

Shark Pop: Coin Collect and 4 Crazy Cluckers both reached the leaderboard shortly after being added to Hard Rock Bet’s game catalog in August.

Games Global’s Shark Pop: Coin Collect was the higher-ranked newcomer at No. 7, while Playtech’s 4 Crazy Cluckers entered at No. 10.

Among the established games, Huff N’ Puff Money Mansion climbed eight positions in the combined rankings to reach No. 6.

Two other slots made notable gains in the combined top 10. Huff N’ Even More Puff rose 20 positions to No. 8, while Bankin’ Bacon Pigs Might Fly moved up seven places to No. 9.

Blackjack accounts for four of five leading table games

Across Hard Rock Bet’s two online casino markets, blackjack titles occupied four of the five places in the operator’s digital table-game rankings. Evolution’s Hard Rock First Person Blackjack remained the most-played game in the category.

Playtech’s Penny Roulette ranked second and was the only non-blackjack title included. IGT Blackjack followed in third place, while Playtech’s Mobile Blackjack moved up one position to fourth. NetEnt Blackjack fell one place to No. 5.

The first three table-game positions were unchanged from July, while Mobile Blackjack and NetEnt Blackjack exchanged fourth and fifth place.

Those games are digital versions that do not involve a live dealer. Hard Rock Bet published a separate ranking for games streamed with a human dealer.

Evolution’s Lightning Roulette climbed three positions to lead the live-dealer category in August. It replaced MONOPOLY Live, which fell from first to fifth.

Mega Fire Blaze Roulette climbed one position to second place. Crazy Time slipped one spot to third, while Adventures Beyond Wonderland Live rose two places to fourth. The results left roulette titles in the first two positions.

Player activity peaks after 9 p.m.

Hard Rock Bet’s hourly data across New Jersey and Michigan showed that online casino activity remained relatively low during the mornings before increasing through the afternoons. Player counts peaked after 9 p.m. ET.

Saturday and Sunday attracted the most players during August, while Thursday stood out among the weekdays.
