After nearly a year of waiting, loyal gamblers at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City are finally joining the company’s global reward card program.
Hard Rock AC will introduce the Unity reward card program on Jan. 9, according to a customer email sent Friday. Unity will replace Wild Card Rewards at Hard Rock Atlantic City.
Current Wild Card members will automatically become Unity members. All tier points, balances and offers will be transitioned to Unity. A new player’s card is not required but guests are welcome to request one.
Unity by Hard Rock going live in Atlantic City
Unity is used by almost all of Hard Rock’s casino properties, including its flagship gambling parlors in Las Vegas (The Mirage) and Florida. In New Jersey, the Unity program is also linked to Hard Rock Bet NJ, the company’s mobile brand among NJ online casinos and NJ sportsbooks.
The Unity by Hard Rock app is available to download for Android and iOS users.
Tier credits, comps and bonus earning rates in Atlantic City will remain the same under Unity as they were with Wild Card.
According to the email, those earning rates are property-specific, so Hard Rock gamblers in AC earn at a different rate than those in Bristol, Virginia (opening soon) or Biloxi, Mississippi.

The transition from Wild Card to Unity has been unusually slow in Atlantic City. Most of the company’s other casinos began using the new loyalty program in early 2023.
Some higher-tier AC Wild Card holders were rolled into the Unity program last year.
Since opening in June 2018, Hard Rock has catapulted to the upper echelon of Atlantic City casinos. The Boardwalk property formerly known as the Trump Taj Mahal trails only Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in terms of land-based Atlantic City gambling revenue.
Unity by Hard Rock features four tiers, some of which are different than the Wild Card Rewards tiers.
- Premier becomes Star (Red)
- Elite becomes Legend (Blue)
- Rock Royalty becomes Icon (Gold)
- X will not change (Black)
