Five Atlantic City casino restaurants are among the 20 nominees in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards for top casino restaurants.
The Atlantic City properties represented are Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, Resorts Casino Hotel, Golden Nugget Atlantic City, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, and Ocean Casino Resort.
Voting is open once per day through Monday, Aug. 24, at noon. The 10 winners are scheduled to be announced Wednesday, Sept. 2.
The Five Atlantic City Nominees
The nominated restaurants are:
- Angeline by Michael Symon at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa
- Capriccio at Resorts Casino Hotel
- Chart House at Golden Nugget Atlantic City
- Council Oak Steaks & Seafood at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City
- Linguini By The Sea at Ocean Casino Resort
That means Atlantic City accounts for five of the 20 casino restaurants on the national nominee list.
Resorts’ Capriccio Is Part of the National Field Again
For Resorts Casino Hotel, the nomination keeps Capriccio in the spotlight as one of Atlantic City’s longest-running casino dining rooms. The restaurant has been in business since 1978. It has also been voted the “#1 U.S. Casino Restaurant” by USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards several times.
The other Atlantic City nominees also reflect the range of casino dining options across the market. The source article highlights Angeline’s Italian menu from Michael Symon, Council Oak’s USDA prime cuts dry-aged up to 45 days in a Himalayan salt-brick chamber, and Linguini By The Sea’s handcrafted pastas, seafood, cocktails, and Negroni selection.
For Atlantic City casinos, the nominations are another reminder that resorts are competing on more than the gaming. Restaurants remain a major part of the visitor experience.
