Bally’s Corporation has appointed Tom Pohlman as president of Bally’s Atlantic City.

The move was included in an industry hiring roundup, as per the source report. Pohlman previously spent 15 years in leadership roles.

In a LinkedIn post referenced by SBC Americas, Pohlman described Bally’s as being at

“one of the most recognizable locations in gaming and hospitality, the legendary corner of Park Place and the Boardwalk.”

He also called it

“a property with deep roots, a proud history, and incredible opportunities ahead.”

Tom Pohlman Brings Long Atlantic City Experience

Pohlman’s background in the local casino market plays a significant role here. His 15-year run at Golden Nugget Atlantic City means Bally’s is turning to a known local executive rather than an outsider.

There is no effective start date mentioned for Pohlman’s appointment. Bally’s also did not outline any immediate operational changes for this role.

Part of a Broader Gaming-industry Hiring Wave

The roundup also covered several other executive moves across gambling and gaming. These include appointments at Polymarket, The Unit, Internet Vikings, NorthStar Gaming, and EveryMatrix. However, those developments are broader North American industry trend.

Pohlman’s appointment is the most relevant story for locals following leadership changes at Atlantic City properties.
