New Jersey bettors can score a trip to one of the summer’s biggest soccer-themed parties through a new promotion from BetMGM and Marriott Bonvoy.
The companies announced the Marriott Bonvoy & BetMGM World’s Game Sweepstakes, which gives eligible customers the chance to win a VIP trip to New York City for Sports Illustrated Beyond the Pitch, a celebrity-filled event scheduled for July 18 at Cipriani.
The promotion highlights BetMGM’s growing partnership with Marriott Bonvoy and arrives as the FIFA World Cup takes center stage across the US this summer.
For New Jersey players, it offers an opportunity to turn a small wager on the BetMGM Sportsbook into a premium weekend experience just across the Hudson River. New York bettors are not eligible for the protmotion.

How New Jersey bettors can enter
The sweepstakes runs through June 21. To participate, bettors must link their BetMGM and Marriott Bonvoy accounts and place at least one $10 wager. Each qualifying wager earns an entry, with players able to accumulate up to 25 entries during each entry period. Winners will be selected weekly throughout the promotion.
The grand prize package includes:
- VIP access to the SI Beyond the Pitch party
- Round-trip travel to New York City or up to $1,000 in travel funds, depending on the entry period
- A three-night stay at Moxy Lower East Side
- Dinner at L’Artusi Supper Club
BetMGM and Marriott Bonvoy will award 10 grand prizes, with each winner allowed to bring one guest.
The companies are also awarding 30 secondary prizes consisting of $100 in New Jersey sports betting bonuses. In addition, players who earn at least one entry during an entry period receive 2,500 Marriott Bonvoy points.
Event features celebrity entertainment
The sweepstakes centers around Sports Illustrated Beyond the Pitch, which organizers describe as one of the summer’s premier soccer celebrations.
The July 18 event is expected to feature performances by rapper 50 Cent and DJ Diplo at the iconic Cipriani venue in Manhattan, said BetMGM Chief Revenue Officer Matt Prevost.

Marriott International Vice President of Global Financial Partnerships Jamie Russo said the partnership is designed to connect members with exclusive events tied to major moments in sports.
Another perk of BetMGM-Marriott partnership
The promotion builds on the rewards relationship launched by BetMGM and Marriott Bonvoy in 2024. Through the partnership, eligible players can link accounts and earn BetMGM Rewards points through sports betting and online casino play. Those points can then be converted into Marriott Bonvoy points and redeemed for hotel stays and other travel experiences.
For New Jersey bettors, the latest sweepstakes offers a chance to leverage that partnership for a high-profile summer event just a short trip from home. New Jersey players remain eligible to enter through the BetMGM sports app or BetMGM.com through June 21.
