Fubo Sportsbook, NY Jets Opening Mobile Sports Betting Lounge At MetLife Stadium

Fubo Sportsbook and the New York Jets are teaming up just days before the start of the 2021 NFL season.

On Thursday, the two sides announced a multi-year deal for Fubo Sportsbook to become the Jets’ official sports betting partner.

The centerpiece of the agreement is the creation of the Fubo Sportsbook Lounge at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford. The 7,000-square-foot mobile sports betting lounge is opening this season.

The partnership, “is another major step for the New York Jets in our journey to prioritize engagement with our fan base, including the enhancement of their overall stadium experience on game day,” said Jeff Fernandez, vice president of business development and ventures for the Jets.

What’s happening at the Fubo Sportsbook Lounge?

According to a news release, the stadium sportsbook lounge, “will offer Jets fans the opportunity to enjoy the look and feel of a casino-style sportsbook.”

TVs with live gameday action and betting lines will be displayed throughout the lounge. Fubo Sportsbook app users are going to receive incentives and special bonus offers once the app is live.

An outdoor patio will give guests a view of Jets games.

Scott Butera, president of Fubo Gaming, said the deal with the NY Jets will offer, “a truly unique sports betting and entertainment experience.”

Fubo launch In NJ coming soon

The Fubo mobile app is expected to launch in New Jersey before the end of the year.

Fubo has NJ market access via  Caesars Entertainment’s casino license in the Garden State.

Fubo will also become the presenting partner of the Jets mobile app. Users will receive access to special Fubo offers as well as Jets gameday incentives tied to the sports betting lounge.

“This partnership with Fubo Sportsbook is another major step for the New York Jets in our journey to prioritize engagement with our fan base, including the enhancement of their overall stadium experience on game day,” Fernandez said.

Outside the Garden State

The Fubo Sportsbook app will also be available in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Iowa, and Indiana.

In Pennsylvania, Fubo will use Cordish Gaming’s casino license for market access. Caesars is granting Fubo access in Indiana.
The Ak-Chin Indian Community in Arizona and Casino Queen in Iowa are offering Fubo, too.
