Golden Nugget online casino is expanding its live dealer offerings.

The operator has inked a strategic partnership with Evolution Gaming. Details of the deal were announced earlier today via a press release.

And as a result, two major names in the NJ online casino industry are coming together.

Golden Nugget is responsible for pioneering the US live dealer casino. Evolution, of course, is the leading provider of live casino solutions.

Through this new deal, Golden Nugget online players will have access to unique Evolution games, including:

  • Dream Catcher
  • Side Bet City
  • Top Card

The two companies did not provide a timeline for when these new live dealer games will be available.

More on Golden Nugget deal with Evolution

This deal is just the latest example of how Golden Nugget continues to set the trend in the live gaming category. The Marina District property features Atlantic City’s first Live Studio.

Ezugi is the company behind the current setup. And it just so happens Evolution acquired them last year.

Via the deal, Evolution games will be streamed live from the company’s Atlantic City studio. But the space is completely separate from the Golden Nugget Atlantic City room.

Other games, however, will stream out of the GN studio.

This means operators using the Golden Nugget space will have access to selected titles.

Those NJ online casinos include:

Golden Nugget hoping to increase market share

Golden Nugget remains the leader that the rest of the online casino pack is chasing.

Besides its namesake brand, three other operators fall under its land-based license:

Golden Nugget is coming off a record-setting April with $27.6 million in NJ online casino revenue.

And the market as a whole achieved an all-time high of almost $80 million.

Of course, Atlantic City casinos being closed is the driving force. And May is going to be the same story.

Thomas Winter, Golden Nugget’s senior vice president and general manager of online gaming, commented on how the Evolution deal fits into the plans:

“Our online players and those of our partners are very well served with our existing online Live Casino offering in terms of classic casino table games,” he said.

“The agreement with Evolution will give our players and those of our operating partners access to more unique show-style games and other unique titles, enriching their live gaming experience. The new generation of Evolution Live Casino games will also help us serve a broader player demographics, including sports bettors. This we believe, will allow us collectively to further increase the share of online casino revenue attributed to Live games.”

Evolution and the live dealer casino market

Evolution is looking to make a larger footprint in the American market, too. Its partnership with Golden Nugget will help them explore other opportunities in new markets.

In other words, the Golden Nugget deal helps the European company push forward as the leader in live casino gambling.

Sebastian Johannisson, chief commercial officer at Evolution, explains in the press release:

“This deal further consolidates our position in New Jersey while providing an additional strategic platform from which to introduce additional new games to the US, including titles that have already been very successful in the Live Casino space in Europe.”
