BetMGM Sportsbook New Jersey has launched two free football contests at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa for the 2026 season, giving players opportunities to win weekly prizes, a $10,000 survivor prize, and tickets to the Big Game.
Both contests are available through the retail BetMGM Sportsbook at Borgata Atlantic City. Players do not need to place a wager to participate, although entries must be submitted in person at a sportsbook kiosk using an MGM Rewards card.
The promotions are part of BetMGM’s Signature Series of free-to-play football contests offered at select retail sportsbooks around the country. Borgata is the only participating New Jersey property.
Survive the Season winner gets $10,000 in BetMGM prizes
Survive the Season follows a traditional survivor-pool format. Players select one professional football team to win outright each week during the NFL betting season and advance as long as their selection wins.
A loss, tie or missed pick eliminates the participant. Players also cannot select the same team more than once during the 18-week season.
The final remaining player receives $5,000 in Borgata FREEPLAY and $5,000 in BetMGM online bonus bets. The winner will also receive a custom BetMGM championship ring and jersey, valued at $280.
Players must enter during Week 1, with registration closing Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. ET. Subsequent selections can be submitted beginning each Tuesday at 11 a.m., with a weekly deadline of Sunday at 11 a.m.
Pigskin Pick ‘Em offers $17,500 in weekly prizes
Pigskin Pick ‘Em resets each week, giving players a new opportunity to compete for prizes throughout the football season.
Pigskin Pick ‘Em requires participants to choose 10 professional or college football games against the point spread. Borgata will make at least 13 games available each week, and the spreads are set when the contest opens Tuesday morning and remain fixed for that week’s competition.
The top five entries split $15,000 in Borgata FREEPLAY each week, with $5,000 going to first place.
Each of the top 25 finishers receives $100 in BetMGM bonus bets, adding another $2,500 to the weekly prize pool. That brings the total value available each week to $17,500 between FREEPLAY and online bonus bets.
Participants also predict the total number of points scored in the Sunday night game. That prediction serves as the weekly tiebreaker, with the closest total without going over taking the higher position when players finish with the same number of correct picks.
Entries for Pigskin Pick ‘Em open each Tuesday at 11 a.m. ET and close Sunday at 1 p.m. Unlike Survive the Season, which requires players to join in Week 1, new participants can enter the pick ’em throughout the football season.
Season champion can win Big Game LXI trip
Pigskin Pick ‘Em also includes a season-long grand prize. The player with the most correct picks across all 18 weeks will receive two tickets to Big Game LXI at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, plus $5,000 in cash toward travel expenses.
The winner can instead choose a $12,500 cash prize or $10,000 in cash plus $5,000 in Borgata FREEPLAY.
Both contests are free to enter and limited to players who are at least 21 years old and members of MGM Rewards. Entries must be submitted in person at Borgata and cannot be made through the BetMGM mobile sportsbook.
