New Jersey’s iGaming players have a new title to check out on DraftKings.
The operator announced Thursday that Lightning Link High Stakes by Aristocrat Gaming has launched in the state on DraftKings Casino NJ, bringing one of the most popular retail slot franchises to an online format for the first time.
The release adds to an already crowded field of content among New Jersey online casinos. With more than a decade of legal play in the state, New Jersey operators frequently lean on exclusive or high-profile online slots to keep their apps competitive among the state’s experienced player base.

A recognizable name makes its online debut
Lightning Link has long been a fixture on retail floors, built around its Hold & Spin feature and multiple themed variations. DraftKings said the game’s arrival on its iGaming app represents the franchise’s anticipated online debut.
It New Jersey customers access to a title many may already recognize from land-based visits, including at Atlantic City casinos. Christian Bogstrand, DraftKings Executive Vice President and General Manager of iGaming, said in a statement:
“Lightning Link is one of the most recognizable slot franchises in casino gaming, and we’re excited to bring this experience to our customers.
“Expanding our premium game portfolio with iconic titles like Lightning Link, alongside exclusive games and innovative features, reflects our continued investment in delivering one of the industry’s most engaging online casino experiences.”
What’s new for New Jersey players
- Lightning Link High Stakes is live now on DraftKings Casino for eligible New Jersey customers
- The game adds to a library DraftKings describes as containing thousands of titles
- An in-app takeover spotlights the new content for players browsing the casino lobby
DraftKings operates its iGaming product in New Jersey under state regulation, one of several states where the company runs online casino operations. It remains unclear whether additional Aristocrat titles are planned for the state going forward. Players looking to try the new title can also compare current New Jersey online casino bonuses across the state’s licensed operators.
The company again tied the release to its responsible gambling push, pointing customers toward budget and control tools such as deposit limits, cool-off periods and self-exclusion options available in the app.
The launch continues a steady cadence of content additions from operators competing in New Jersey’s iGaming space, where the depth and variety of the platform’s game library remains a key factor for a player base with more app choices than almost any other state in the country.
