Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City is upping the stakes on its gaming floor with the launch of the city’s first $2 million Dragon Link progressive slot machines, a move that adds one of the largest jackpot opportunities currently available in the local market.

The high-limit addition reflects the operator’s continued investment in premium slot offerings as Atlantic City casinos compete to attract high-value players.

$2 million Dragon Link slots debut in Atlantic City

The two machines, developed by Aristocrat Gaming, are now live in Hard Rock Atlantic City‘s high-limit slot area and feature the themes Dragon Link Golden Century and Dragon Link Happy & Prosperous. Positioned side by side, the linked machines offer a top progressive jackpot exceeding $2 million – among the largest available at any Atlantic City property.

The high-limit slots are configured with a $1 denomination and require a minimum bet of $50, with wagers reaching as high as $3,125 per spin. In addition to the top prize, the Dragon Link setup at Hard Rock includes other progressive tiers of $1 million, $200,000, and $100,000.

Hard Rock looks to build on popular slot brand

Hard Rock President George Goldhoff said the addition builds on the strong performance of Dragon Link games already on the casino floor:

“Dragon Link slot machines by Aristocrat Gaming are among the busiest games on our casino floor, and these new, $2 million progressive jackpot slot machines add even more excitement for players.

“We are proud to be the first casino in Atlantic City to offer these $2 million progressive jackpot slots.”

Dragon Link has been a standout brand for Aristocrat Gaming, consistently ranking among the top-performing slot products in casinos worldwide. The game line previously earned “Top Performing Proprietary Branded Game” at the 2022 EKG Slot Awards.

High-limit gaming continues to grow in Atlantic City

The launch reflects an ongoing trend among Atlantic City operators to invest in premium, high-limit gaming experiences aimed at attracting higher-spending customers. These machines are typically designed to appeal to VIP and high-roller segments because they offer larger jackpots and higher betting thresholds.

Hard Rock Atlantic City’s gaming floor features more than 2,200 slot machines and 128 table games, along with a dedicated high-limit slot salon. The property has continued to expand its slot offerings in recent years, particularly with branded machines, such as Whitney Houston slots, and progressive products that drive player engagement.

Located on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, the resort spans 17 acres and includes a mix of gaming, dining, entertainment and nightlife amenities. Hard Rock remains one of the top-performing gambling venues in the market, frequently competing near the top of monthly revenue rankings.

The addition of $2 million progressive slots could further strengthen its position, particularly among players seeking large jackpot opportunities in the New Jersey market.
