FanDuel is expanding its lineup of branded New Jersey online casino games with the release of Love Island: Unlocked, a new slot inspired by the hit reality television series.

The game is the latest product from FanDuel Casino‘s partnership with ITV Studios and arrives ahead of the summer season of Love Island USA.

New Jersey is one of six jurisdictions where players can access the exclusive slot, alongside Pennsylvania, Connecticut, West Virginia, Michigan and Ontario.

New Jersey among first markets to get game

Developed by White Hat Gaming exclusively for FanDuel, Love Island: Unlocked is the second game released under the companies’ multi-title collaboration.

The online slot introduces a Select-A-Character feature that allows players to choose their favorite Islander before gameplay begins. The game also includes bonus mechanics tied to memorable moments from the television show.

Among those features are “Bombshell in The Villa,” which adds bonus symbols to the reels. Another feature, “Dumping Night,” is a modifier that refreshes the reels in pursuit of larger payouts.

FanDuel said the game was designed to blend iGaming entertainment with one of the most recognizable reality TV brands currently on the air. Daniele Phillips, senior vice president of marketing at FanDuel Casino, said:

“As America’s No. 1 iGaming operator, we are constantly looking for innovative ways to bring fresh entertainment experiences to our customers while reaching new audiences.

“Love Island is known for having an incredibly passionate and engaged fanbase and with this latest launch, we’re continuing to bring the spirit and thrill of the franchise to players in new ways, exclusively on FanDuel Casino.”

Ariana Madix helps promote launch

The release comes as Love Island prepares for another summer season. Previous seasons have typically attracted millions of viewers across the United States.

Love Island USA host Ariana Madix is serving as the game’s lead ambassador. She added:

“Love Island has become a defining part of summer entertainment, so launching Love Island: Unlocked alongside the premiere of the new season feels like the perfect fit.

“It’s incredible to see so many iconic moments and fan-favorite elements from The Villa woven into the game in a way that creates an immersive experience that truly captures the energy, excitement and fun viewers love about the series.”

According to FanDuel, additional promotions tied to the Love Island partnership are expected throughout the summer.

$500,000 promotion includes Fiji vacation

FanDuel is pairing the game’s launch with its June Generosity campaign. It offers eligible customers access to free reward box drops and entries into a promotional prize pool worth $500,000.

The top prize is a luxury trip for two to Fiji through FanDuel’s Ultimate Island Giveaway sweepstakes.

The operator said the campaign is intended to keep players engaged throughout the summer while expanding on its relationship with the Love Island brand.

New Jersey remains one of FanDuel’s largest iGaming markets. It is one of the most competitive regulated iGaming jurisdictions in the United States.
