Jurgy and Ocean Casino in Atlantic City have partnered recently. Philadelphia Eagles player Cam Jurgens launched this beef jerky brand in 2021 as a name, image, and likeness venture.
The collaboration centers on a Blueberry BBQ flavor. Ocean is positioning the flavor as a nod to New Jersey agriculture. The promotion also includes an Instagram giveaway featuring resort and Jurgens prizes.
Blueberry BBQ Flavor Leans on New Jersey Branding
The Blueberry BBQ flavor references the state’s agricultural roots. That includes a tie to Hammonton. The town is located about 30 miles northwest of Atlantic City and is known as the Blueberry Capital of the World.
New Jersey was the birthplace of the first cultivated blueberries. That gives the product launch a clear Garden State theme. The casino is looking to connect the partnership to a local identity.
Ocean Casino’s Instagram Giveaway Details
Ocean Casino is also running a social media promotion with this launch. To enter, users must like the Instagram post, follow both Ocean Casino and Jurgens, and tag a friend.
The giveaway prize includes an eight-pack case of Blueberry BBQ jerky, a complimentary overnight stay at Ocean Casino, and a meet-and-greet with Jurgens during the visit.
