DraftKings Casino jackpot made history in New Jersey last week when two lucky customers won million-dollar jackpots within 24 hours of each other.
One customer set a new DraftKings record with the largest progressive jackpot in company history at $3.29 million. With a second massive jackpot win of $1.97 million the next day, DraftKings Casino’s total progressive NJ online casino jackpot payouts in New Jersey climbed to a new height of $13.49 million since the product launched.

DraftKings NJ customers win two jackpots in 24 Hours
The first jackpot last week came on Tuesday night with a record-setting win.
Tuesday’s lucky jackpot winner won the largest progressive jackpot in the history of DraftKings Casino NJ at $3.29 million with a $0.10 bet on Ancient Fortunes: Zeus. Their win shattered the previous record from April of this year when another customer won $1.97 million. April’s record was also won with a $0.10 bet, this time on the game Extra Chilli Megaways.
Then, on Wednesday, a separate customer made another $0.10 bet on Western Horseshoes and won $1.44 million. That win, within 24 hours of the first, brought DraftKings Casino’s total of NJ progressive jackpot payouts to $13.49 million.
DraftKings also recently announced its position at No. 1 of the gross gaming revenue iGaming share in the United States during Q1 of 2023. DraftKings Casino is live in five states.
New DraftKings NJ jackpot feature launched last year
DraftKings launched its progressive jackpot feature in October 2022, and it’s only available to the operator’s New Jersey online casino players.
The new jackpot was the first of its kind in North America and awarded a mid-six-figure payout within the first two weeks of its launch.
In general, standard jackpots are awards within a specific game like Blackjack or a specific slot machine title. DraftKings’ new in-house jackpot links more varieties of games together to give players more chances to win.
Players must opt into the progressive jackpot while playing any of the eligible games. The cost of jackpot participation, an additional 10 cents, will be deducted from the players’ wallets for each spin or hand.

DraftKings Casino players in New Jersey have won big with jackpots in the past year.
In September 2022, a New Jersey resident got lucky and hit a jackpot worth $550,000 on DraftKings Casino. The user was playing the MegaJackpots Wheel of Fortune On Air on September 25. Overall, they took home $553,534.28.
In April 2023, DraftKings Casino set a new record with its progressive jackpot. The user was playing Extra Chilli Megaways and won $1.97 million. That’s the record that was broken last week on Tuesday.
DraftKings launches Auto American Live Roulette
Another DK event this week was the launch of Auto American Live Roulette. The game is similar to stadium roulette at land-based casinos and features an auto roulette wheel running 24/7.
The Roulette game is currently only available to DraftKings Casino customers in New Jersey, but they plan to have live dealer offerings in other jurisdictions.
