Borgata Poker Room in AC

The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is bringing major poker tournaments back to Atlantic City with some big events lined up starting in November. After a major drought in the big tournament series, news recently dropped that got players excited for the return of big buy-in events.

In New Jersey, three casinos offer live poker games in the state of New Jersey. All three poker rooms are located in Atlantic City. Tournaments only run at the Borgata but cash games operate 24/7 at the following casinos:

  • Borgata (52 tables)
  • Harrahs Resort (28 tables)
  • Tropicana Atlantic City (10 tables)

Over $250,000 guaranteed at Borgata this month

Borgata announced a big event this November. The Friday Fifteen will take place on Nov. 18 and will consist of a two-day event series. The tournament will come with a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool and will cost players $1,500 to sign up. Additional details include:

  • 35,000 Starting Stack
  • 40 Min. Levels
  • Re-entry through Level 9

If $1,500 is a little too heavy on the bankroll, the Borgata is offering live qualifying events leading up to the tournament. From Nov. 15 through  Nov. 17, the MGM Resorts property will host satellite tournaments that will lead to direct buy-ins to Friday’s event. The satellites buy-in range from $100 – $400.

Borgata Poker Survivor Series

After the Friday Fifteen event, Borgata will launch its Survivor Series. The tournaments run Nov. 21-25. The survivor series includes seven different tournaments. This will include poker buy-ins ranging from $125-$450. In a survivor event, when players reach the money the prizepool is split evenly and the tournament ends.
