Hard Rock players can now enjoy “Hard Rock Pork N Roll,” an exclusive adaptation of Piggy Blitz by Play’n GO.
This marks the first title provided exclusively for Hard Rock Bet under a new partnership between Hard Rock Digital and Play’n GO, a game content supplier that recently entered the US market. The title will only be available for customers of Hard Rock Bet, which is one of the New Jersey online casino apps.
“Our formal partnership with Hard Rock Digital is still in its relative infancy, but many months of work have gone into both the partnership itself and the design of this game, with input from both businesses,” said Play’n Go Chief Commercial Officer Magnus Olsson. “We’re excited by this new exclusive title, and it is a testament to the innovation and creativity of our game designers to create a fun spin-off of one of our classic titles.”
Bespoke slot variants are all the rage
Hard Rock Bet is following in the footsteps of other gaming operators with exclusivity deals with game creators.
Often, slots described as “exclusive” are only really exclusive to one casino for a limited time, perhaps a few weeks. After that, the deal expires and the games may start appearing on other sites. That’s not the case with a bespoke exclusive like Pork N Roll, which was made just for Hard Rock Bet and won’t appear anywhere else.
Building out a catalog of bespoke exclusives with the operator’s own branding is becoming a popular strategy in the US, especially with certain operators like Caesars Palace. It was one of the first to pursue such deals and now has about a dozen pieces of bespoke content featuring the brands of Caesars’ retail casino properties.
These games tend to be adaptations of titles that are already popular, with new graphics but identical gameplay. Under the hood, “Hard Rock Pork N Roll” is the same game as “Piggy Blitz,” which Play’n GO first released in the US late in 2023 at BetMGM Casino.
How to play Pork N Roll
Pork N Roll and Piggy Blitz have a 6×4 reel, all-ways-pay configuration, and feature the currently-trendy cash-on-reels mechanic. In addition to the conventional payline symbols, the reels contain coin symbols with a cash value. A piggy bank symbol landing on the first or last reel collects all the cash. Three or more scatter symbols trigger a bonus round in which all symbols except coins have been removed, and at least one piggy bank is guaranteed on each spin.
According to Play’n Go, they expect the title “Hard Rock Pork N Roll” will help the game “stand out as an instant classic.”
Play’n GO was founded in 2005 and is based in Sweden. The company has enjoyed success in the European gaming market, supplying hundreds of popular games to real-life casinos and online casinos. iA few of the most popular Play’n Go titles are Book of Dead, Moon Princess, and Reactoonz. According to its website, Play’n Go has brought more than 350 casino games to the market globally. The company has titles in 30 jurisdictions in the United States.
