It’s not every day New Jersey online casinos offer customers a chance to chat with former NFL stars. BetMGM is doing just that as the NFL season kicks off next week.

Players will have the opportunity to play and interact with former New York Jets legends Wayne Chrebet and Tony Richardson on Sept. 5. BetMGM is calling the event “Kickoff With The Stars.”

BetMGM Casino NJ has a partnership with the Jets that allows for this type of collaboration. The operator has several titles that involve the Jets, along with other sports themes.

Wayne Chrebet, Tony Richardson to engage with BetMGM customers

BetMGM will host Chrebet and Richardson at its live dealer studios on Sept. 5. Between 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., customers can log into their BetMGM accounts like normal and head over to the live dealer lobby. There will be a private table to play Infinite Blackjack with hundreds of seats available.

Chrebet and Richardson will be live with BetMGM until about halftime of the Thursday night opener between the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens. What better way to watch the game and play some blackjack than with Jets legends? Maybe even pop over to BetMGM Sportsbook NJ and place a bet?

“By bringing together the star power of Jets legends Wayne Chrebet and Tony Richardson with the thrill of live dealer blackjack, BetMGM is creating an exciting event to celebrate the start of the NFL season,” BetMGM VP of Gaming Product and Content, Oliver Bartlett, said in a press release.

“This showcases our live dealer offering and commitment to delivering new and entertaining experiences for our players.”

BetMGM live dealer blackjack experience ‘unforgettable’ for players

Chrebet and Richardson are certainly no slouches when it comes to their NFL careers. Chrebet turned a walk-on tryout with the Jets into an 11-year career. He accumulated 580 receptions and 7,365 yards, placing him second and fifth all-time in those categories for the franchise, respectively.

Richardson played 16 years in the NFL as a fullback, including his last three with the Jets where he became the lead blocker for 1,000-yard rusher Thomas Jones in 2008 and 2009.

Evolution North America CEO, Jacob Claesson, is well-aware of the treat BetMGM players are in for.

“Evolution is thrilled to partner with BetMGM to facilitate an unforgettable live dealer experience with two New York Jets legends to kick off the NFL season. This exciting event showcases our innovative live dealer blackjack and offers players the rare opportunity to interact in real-time with Wayne and Tony while playing,” Claesson said in the announcement.

“We’re extremely proud to support BetMGM as they continue to push the boundaries of live dealer gaming, and we look forward to welcoming new sports enthusiasts to discover the excitement and unique interactions that live dealer games provide.”

Other NJ Jets themed online casino games

To further get into the football spirit, BetMGM offers multiple titles that involve the Jets, which can be played before or after “Kickoff With The Stars.” Those games include:

  • Big Kick
  • Blackjack
  • Football Studio
  • Deluxe
  • QB Blast
  • Roulette
  • Slingo

There are Jets games of every vertical spanning from slots, table games and live dealer games in New Jersey. BetMGM is certainly ready for football season, and appealing to both the sports bettor and online casino player.
