New Jersey online casinos produced $248.4 million in August, the second straight month the vertical has set a record, according to data from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.

It was a 25.2% increase over August 2024 and built on a strong July, when iGaming generated $246.8 million. So far, New Jersey online casinos have reached $1.88 billion in year-to-date revenue, which is 23.5% higher than this time last year.

The summer months are typically slow for New Jersey online casinos, but this year, they have enjoyed their biggest all-time months in July and August.

FanDuel separates from pack

FanDuel Casino turned in a strong revenue month of $57.1 million in August, which was more than $10 million ahead of second-place finisher DraftKings Casino.

FanDuel reached an all-time high in August, an impressive feat after not totaling even $50 million the first two months of the year. The operator recorded just $49.7 million and $44.1 million in January and February, respectively.

DraftKings came within $3 million of FanDuel in July. However, FanDuel flexed its muscles in August, pulling away from its rival.

Fanatics stabilizes

Fanatics Casino has been a bit unpredictable as of late. The previous four months prior to August were all over the board:

  • April: $7.4 million
  • May: $6.2 million
  • June: $3.6 million
  • July: $12.4 million

In August, the operator recorded an even $10 million. Even though it’s down from July, perhaps Fanatics is starting to stabilize a position in the market. The operator is certainly hoping to produce double-digit revenue figures from here on out.
