As the 2026 FIFA World Cup approaches, New Jersey-based BetMGM is launching a slate of New Jersey sports betting bonuses designed to capitalize on one of the biggest sporting events in the world.

Team USA Goals could trigger bonus bets
BetMGM’s Goal Rush Grand Prize promotion rewards eligible customers who place a qualifying pre-match wager of at least $5 on a U.S. men’s national team match.
For every Team USA goal scored during the World Cup, participants will receive a share of $500,000 in bonus bets. The operator said bonus bets expire after seven days and are non-withdrawable.
The promotion gives bettors a reason to stay invested in every scoring opportunity, regardless of whether they wagered on the match outcome. Matt Prevost, BetMGM’s chief revenue officer, said in a statement:

Tim Howard featured across platforms
Former U.S. national team goalkeeper Tim Howard is playing a central role in BetMGM’s World Cup campaign.
Beginning June 11, bettors can access Tim Howard’s Penalty Kick Shootout, a free-to-play game available through the BetMGM sports wagering app. Players can win bonus bets and boost tokens by attempting to score against the former U.S. star. No wager is required to participate.
BetMGM Casino NJ is also introducing two Howard-themed titles: Tim Howard Goalie Gold X Up and Tim Howard’s Goal Line – Fortune Pick.
The Garden State is one of the markets where the operator’s New Jersey online casino platform is available.
Sweepstakes offers chance at VIP coccer event
BetMGM is also partnering with Marriott Bonvoy on a World Cup-themed sweepstakes.
Customers who link their Marriott Bonvoy and BetMGM accounts and place qualifying wagers can earn entries to win a trip to Sports Illustrated’s Beyond the Pitch Party.
The prize package includes travel accommodations, hotel stays, dining experiences, event access and Marriott Bonvoy points. Entry is available through June 21, with winners selected weekly.

In addition to its promotional offerings, BetMGM said it will provide more than 300 markets on every World Cup match.
The operator is also highlighting enhanced same-game parlays, premium odds flashes and improved wager-tracking tools as part of its tournament coverage.
