New Jersey February Sports Betting

New Jersey sports bettors laid down more than $847 million in legal wagers in February, most of which was gambled online.

More than $801 million, or 95%, of the total bet on sports last month in NJ was via mobile apps or online.

February’s sports betting returns broke a four-month stretch of the handle (total amount bet) exceeding $1 billion. Last month’s handle was 14% less than the $985.6 million gambled on sports in February 2022.

NJ sportsbooks reported $54.6 million in revenue last month, according to data released Thursday by the state Division of Gaming Enforcement. Sportsbooks associated with Atlantic City casinos and their online partners generated nearly $20 million of the statewide total.
