With the new year upon us, online casino players in New Jersey also have exclusive access to a new slots game via BetMGM.
Play’n GO announced the US release of its highly popular game Piggy Blitz, using the NJ online casino landscape as its jumping-off point.
As a result, BetMGM customers will have exclusive access to the game until Jan. 18.
“Our partnership with BetMGM has been highly successful for both parties to this point,” Magnus Natt och Dag, commercial director for Play’n GO North America, said in a press release, “so we’re pleased to use this exclusive game launch to demonstrate our commitment to furhter joint access.”
Welcome to NJ online casinos, Piggy Blitz
While Piggy Blitz makes its US debut via BetMGM Online Casino NJ, the game already carries plenty of popularity.
The six-reel, four-row grid features 4,096 pay lines for NJ online casino players, who aim to collect Cash Coins and activate the Blitz Spinz bonus.
“Piggy Blitz has proven extremely popular with players in other jurisdictions,” Natt och Dag said in a statement, “so we’re confident that we can replicate that success here in the US.
“BetMGM’s players have made it abundantly clear that they enjoy our content, and Piggy Blitz is sure to replicate that success in 2024.”
Play’n GO continuing to find ways to grow in New Jersey
Play’n GO first got its feet into the New Jersey market courtesy of a partnership with BetMGM.
At the time, Magnus Olsson, Play’n GO’s chief commercial officer, called it “a hugely exciting time” for the company.
In 2023, the Swedish-based gaming company recorded nearly 250 million rounds played for the year – by Nov. 1. It marked an all-time record for Play’n Go, which has been in operation for 20 years.
“Our titles continue to be extremely sticky with the millions of unique players who enjoy our games every single day,” Olsson said at the time, “and with blockbuster titles like Gargantoonz still on the horizon in 2023 we may finish the year with more records set.”
Since first entering the Garden State, Play’n GO has strived, to use its own executives’ verbiage, “to replicate the success” it has shown in Europe and Latin America.
In order to reach that goal, as Olsson said in 2022 and as the company exhibited by releasing Piggy Blitz, “Play’n GO keeps on releasing hit titles and signing deals with major operators.”
