The year 2023 keeps getting better for New Jersey newcomer Play’n GO.
The Swedish-based gaming company that made its NJ online casino debut just over a year ago announced this week that it saw a record number of rounds played in a single day.
According to a press release, Play’n GO recorded nearly 250 million rounds played on Nov. 1 – an all-time record for the company that approaches 20 years old.
How Play’n GO managed to draw record play
You may not know the Play’n GO name, but you may certainly recognize its games.
Some of its more popular titles include Reactoonz, Moon Princess and the Book of Dead. All told, Play’n GO boasts some 300 games provided to casino operators in 25 different jurisdictions with over a million customers playing daily.
Now, after first hitting the digital market in 2005, the company has seen record growth.
“Continuing to break our own records is a testament to the hard work of everyone at Play’n GO, and to the appetite of players around the world for our games,” Magnus Olsson, chief commercial officer at Play’n GO, said in a statement.
“Our titles continue to be extremely sticky with the millions of unique players who enjoy our games every single day, and with blockbuster titles like Gargantoonz still on the horizon in 2023 we may finish the year with more records set. I’m really proud of our entire team at Play’n GO and it’s brilliant for everyone to be rewarded with a new all-time high.”
Making waves, expanding within NJ online casino landscape
In October 2022, Play’n GO expanded its portfolio by inking a partnership with BetMGM Online Casino NJ, allowing the company to provide BetMGM with its suite of slot titles.
Understandably, Olsson called the deal a “hugely exciting time” for Play’n GO, calling his company’s new partner “one of the most trusted names in US gaming.”
“Play’n GO is already one of the biggest suppliers of slots in Europe and Latin America,” Olsson said at the time. “The company is currently looking to replicate this success in the highly-lucrative US market as well. To that end, Play’n GO keeps on releasing hit titles and signing deals with major operators.”
Such was the case last month, when Play’n GO formed a partnership with BeyondPlay to integrate its multiplayer-enabled social gaming software.
