The NextGen of poker content has arrived via PokerStars US.
A strategic new partnership has emerged in the United States market as PokerStars combines forces with YouTube content creators.
The collaboration launches just as the North American Poker Tour (NAPT 2023) kicks off in Las Vegas.
PokerStars US goes viral with NextGen Poker team
PokerStars is taking advantage of the YouTube world by signing the fresh faces involved in the NextGen Poker content team.
The team is made up of Jack, Rosey and Frankie – three poker players who have risen in the social media realm of content virality.
Currently they are one of the largest poker channels on Youtube and TikTok with over 450,000 subscribers between them. The team specializes in short-form content. PokerStars is hoping to capitalize on the growing younger market that receives a lot of their content from YouTube Shorts.
NextGen didn’t waste any time promoting their new deal. They took to the streets of X, formerly Twitter, and announced a $5,000 NAPT giveaway.
NAPT hits Resorts World, Las Vegas
After a 12-year hiatus, NAPT is back in Las Vegas.
The series will take place at Resorts World and comes with a $3 million guaranteed prize pool among all events. The festival will run Nov. 4-12 and includes 32 events. The buy-ins range from $250 to $10,300.
If some of these events seemed out of reach, in the month of October, PokerStars US ran multiple satellites for players to earn their seat to Vegas by winning an online satellite.
No Limit Hold’em will be the main game in the series, but PokerStars will throw in some mixed games as well. A look at a few stand-out events include:
- Nov. 5: $1,100 NLH Deepstack – $125,000 guaranteed
- Nov. 6: $1,650 NLHE Main Event –multi starting days $1.5 million guaranteed
- Nov. 9: $550 PokerStars Cup NL – multi starting days $300,000 guaranteed
- Nov. 11: $1,100 NLH Mystery Bounty – $250,000 guaranteed

NextGen Poker content galore at NAPT
With NextGen having free reign at the NAPT, we can expect tons of video creation.
The team mostly focuses on hand replays in cash games, but has covered tournaments in the past. In one of their most popular YouTube videos, the team talks about how they won $50,000 in an event this past year.
The NAPT will be covered like never before, with vlogs, interviews and hand breakdowns. This short-form content will be particularly exciting for fans of the game.
With no playbook in hand from PokerStars, the NextGen team will have freedom of creativity and viewers can expect some exciting footage. They already have over 150 million views on their shorts, but now that they have an open field, expect those numbers to hit the next level.
