Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa said it will invest $107 million to renovate the Borgata Tower at its Atlantic City resort. Work is scheduled to begin Sept. 13.
The project will cover guest rooms and suites, corridors, and the tower’s main lobby, known as The Living Room. Borgata said renovated rooms are expected to begin opening to guests in October on a rolling basis.
Nik Rytterstrom, Borgata’s president and chief operating officer, said the tower overhaul is part of a broader investment across the property with a goal to improve the guest experience.
What the Borgata Tower Project Includes
Borgata said the renovation will update hotel accommodations as well as key common areas inside the tower. Los Angeles-based Avenue Interior Design is handling the project.
The design firm also worked on the tower’s earlier layout, the MGM Tower remodel, and the B Bar redesign at the property.
In a statement, Avenue Interior Design co-founder and chief creative officer Ashley Justman said
“our goal was to create a style, loosely based on Italian craftsmanship, that endured.”
She added the goal was to keep the design “evolved and sophisticated” while preserving the property’s established style.
Part of a Broader Borgata Capital Program
The tower renovation is one part of a property-wide capital program that Borgata said will continue into 2027.
Borgata remains the top-performing casino in Atlantic City by several measures. The investment builds on that position.
The resort led all nine Atlantic City casinos in gambling revenue last year with more than $800 million, up 8.5% from the prior year. In the first half of 2026, Borgata posted the city’s highest gross operating profit at nearly $100 million.
Borgata has not disclosed a deadline for tower renovation or number of rooms and suites included in the project.
