Caesars is creating an omnichannel experience for customers that brings together its online platform and retail property in Atlantic City. The company has launched a new remote-to-cabinet concept called Remote Reels.

Caesars opened a Remote Reels studio inside Tropicana Atlantic City, which features 25 slot machines in enclosed glass walls within a 937-square-foot area. Customers can spin the reels via the Caesars Palace online casino app and play remotely in real time.

Several titles featured in Remote Reels

Offering an omnichannel experience, an integrated way to enhance customer interaction across all platforms, has become common in the Garden State, especially at Atlantic City casinos and online casinos.

Caesars’ Remote Reels area contains multiple Light & Wonder titles.

Matthew Sunderland, senior VP and chief iGaming officer at Caesars Digital, said the company continues to take gaming to another level.

“We’re proud to be the first online casino operator to have premier titles such as Huff N’ Even More Puff, Mo’ Mummy Valley of Riches, Mo’ Mummy Mighty Pyramid and Buffalo Triple Boost in a remote-to-cabinet play format.

“The debut of our state-of-the-art Remote Reels studio inside Tropicana Atlantic City is the latest example of the innovation we aim to deliver to our online casino players and represents the perfect blend of the familiar feeling of slot play on a casino floor at one of our Caesars Rewards destinations with a fully mobile experience.”

Streaming is a big draw

Caesars’ partner in making this new studio inside Tropicana Casino was Awager, a company that brings together retail casinos games to the online experience.

Roy Greenbaum, co-founder and CEO of the company, talked about the significance of bringing the two together.

“Bringing land-based play online is at the heart of our mission to deliver a truly authentic, immersive casino experience straight to players’ devices. Streaming live from the iconic Tropicana Atlantic City
underscores the unique entertainment value we offer our partners.”

A popular slot influencer, Slot Hopper, placed the ceremonial first spin via a mobile device.

Joseph Giunta, Tropicana SVP and GM, said he was excited to bring the in-casino feel to online customers.

“The stunning new Remote Reels studio adds another exciting component to the Tropicana Atlantic City experience for our guests and players.

“We’re proud to showcase this immersive space in the heart of our casino and give our online players the thrill of Atlantic City from the comfort of their own homes.”
