Hard Rock Atlantic City is launching a new wave of enhancements with a $50 million capital investment plan designed to elevate its resort experience and reinforce its long-term commitment to Atlantic City’s tourism and entertainment economy.
The projects, which are already underway, span extensive guest room renovations, new dining experiences, property upgrades, and expanded amenities, which are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2026.
Guest experience gets major boost
A centerpiece of the investment for the Atlantic City casino is the renovation of more than 700 standard guest rooms, over 60 suites, and eight penthouses in the hotel’s North Tower.
The upgrades are intended to modernize accommodations for travelers and convention visitors alike, said George Goldhoff, president of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.
“We’re proud to reinvest in our resort, our team members, and the Atlantic City community.
“From redesigned guest suites and new dining concepts to world-class entertainment, these investments ensure we continue delivering an exceptional guest experience …”
Interior corridors and walkways are also being refreshed, and new carpet is being installed on both the casino floor and second-floor corridor as part of the updated look.
To support environmental sustainability and guests’ needs, 16 new electric vehicle chargers were installed at Rocktane Gas & Wash. Exterior restorations to the South Tower are also in progress.
New dining on the boardwalk
Hard Rock Atlantic City’s culinary lineup is expanding with a slate of new concepts that reflect both regional tastes and global influences. Among the most anticipated openings is Sitar, an East-Indian restaurant offering modern Indian cuisine with Boardwalk views.
Additionally, Philadelphia fan-favorite Federal Donuts and Chicken is set to open this spring, adding a casual yet buzzy dining choice to the property’s food offerings.
A commitment to community and culture
Hard Rock’s investments also extend beyond bricks and mortar. The resort’s entertainment programming – anchored by Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena and other indoor and outdoor stages – remains a major draw, with an impressive slate of performers scheduled for 2026.
With nearly $700 million invested in the Atlantic City property since reopening in 2018, the Goldhoff said these enhancements align with broader efforts to support the city’s economic and cultural resurgence.
“These investments ensure we continue delivering an exceptional guest experience while honoring one of our core mottos to ‘Love All, Serve All.’”
Omnichannel offerings
Hard Rock recently rolled out a new live dealer experience called Atlantic City Live Roulette, allowing New Jersey online casino players to bet on the same physical roulette table and wheel being used on the casino floor in real time.
Not only is the operator catering to online Hard Rock Bet players, it is also focusing on the in-person experience for guests.
