Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and the reimagined Borgata Casino NJ will once again light up the Atlantic City skyline this summer with the return of the property’s annual fireworks spectacular during Fourth of July weekend.

The fireworks display is scheduled for Friday, July 3, with public viewing beginning at 8:30 p.m. from Borgata’s surface lot. The 20-minute fireworks show, produced by Fireworks by Grucci, will begin at 9:30 p.m. and features choreographed pyrotechnics synchronized to music.

Anthony Caratozzolo, Borgata Atlantic City vice president of hospitality, said in a release:

“Fireworks at Borgata have become a signature tradition for our property and a standout moment within our summer lineup. This event transforms the entire property into a shared celebration and an unforgettable experience.

“It’s a moment guests return for year after year, creating lasting holiday memories, and we’re thrilled to partner with Borgata Online on this year’s spectacular.”

Self-parking will cost $10, while valet parking will be available for $15. South Jersey radio station 95.1 WAYV will also broadcast live from the event.

Borgata online relaunch tied to fireworks event

The fireworks event will also serve as the official launch celebration for the redesigned Borgata online platform, which BetMGM describes as a significant product overhaul in the brand’s history since launching in 2013.

BetMGM said the updated platform will include a redesigned interface, improved navigation, and feature parity with the flagship BetMGM Casino NJ experience. The relaunch also introduces a new unified rewards hub combining promotions, Borgata Rewards points, and MGM Rewards tier status into one location.

Matt Prevost, chief revenue officer at BetMGM, said in the release:

“Borgata’s fireworks have become a signature Atlantic City tradition. The fireworks spectacular is a perfect celebration to introduce the next chapter of Borgata Online.

“As one of the state’s first regulated online casinos, Borgata Online has grown into a brand our players love by incorporating a seamless connection to MGM Resorts and its world of rewards along with a robust selection of games.”

The platform, available as a New Jersey online casino as well as Pennsylvania, features more than 4,000 games, including online slots, live dealer offerings, and branded gaming content, according to BetMGM.

Fourth of July weekend to feature on-property activations

Borgata online’s launch celebration will continue throughout the holiday weekend with a series of on-property promotions and activations.

The festivities begin July 3 with an adult game zone experience featuring interactive entertainment and branded giveaways. Additional hotel activations are planned for July 4 and July 5.

Guests can also participate in a claw machine promotion located in the Borgata lobby. New Borgata Online players who register and deposit at least $25 will have a chance to win prizes, including luxury sunglasses, bonus spins, and a $10,000 in New Jersey online casino bonuses.

Borgata continuing property-wide upgrades

The fireworks announcement comes as Borgata continues broader renovations and upgrades across the property. The Atlantic City casino recently unveiled a renovated 25,000-square-foot gaming floor featuring 51 gaming tables, five private gaming salons, and an expanded Asian gaming experience.

The property also introduced the new Noodles restaurant, an updated entertainment area, a redesigned B Bar, and an updated high-limit gaming area featuring rare global spirits.
