New Jersey iGaming revenue topped Atlantic City’s land-based property win in June for the first time on record, a milestone made more notable by June’s status as one of Atlantic City’s peak in-season tourism months.

New Jersey online casino revenue hit $271.0 million for the month, up 17.5% year-over-year, while Atlantic City properties came in at $257.3 million, down 0.7% from June 2025.

The month of June has always been considered “in-season” for Atlantic City casinos. However, New Jersey online casinos trumped the retail market.

Why this June is different

Atlantic City properties had always outpaced the online vertical in every June to date, until this one. iGaming has proven that it has passed land-based properties by a wide margin.

This shift was poised to happen as iGaming crept closer and closer to Atlantic City in each of the last four June months:

iGaming RevenueAtlantic City Casino Revenue
2022$107.1 million$229.1 million
2023$133.1 million$241.6 million
2024$149.3 million$244.1 million
2025$230.7 million$259.0 million
2026$271.0 million$257.3 million

This doesn’t appear to be a fluke. While the Atlantic City scene is not failing by any means, the online vertical is the clear revenue leader in the state.

June ranks as the fourth-highest iGaming total ever in the Garden State. Operators have also leaned on aggressive promotions, including NJ online casino bonuses, to help drive that growth.

Six months in

Halfway through 2026, iGaming has amassed $1.59 billion in total revenue, which is up 15% when compared to $1.39 billion for the prior year-to-date period.

The industry is healthy and growing rapidly. The market is on pace to produce nearly $3.2 billion, another new record, in revenue this year, which would be up 9.3% from 2025’s total of $2.91 billion.

Operators have contributed $60.4 million in June taxes and $354 million YTD.

Leading the growth

FanDuel Casino NJ continues to lead the pack, producing $62.5 million in June revenue. DraftKings Casino NJ finished second, generating $47.1 million.

FanDuel also finished second in the NJ online poker market, recording $708,848. The operator merged the PokerStars brand onto its iGaming platform in April.

BetMGM Casino NJ has taken a step up in recent months. It had its best performance ever at $35.4 million last month, and has been consistently growing since the start of the year:

  • January: $33.8 million
  • February: $30.7 million
  • March: $34.9 million
  • April: $32.7 million
  • May: $34.6 million
  • June: $35.4 million

While iGaming has exceeded retail win for several straight months, doing so in June indicates another reason to believe it is the most impactful gambling vertical in New Jersey.
