PlayStar has partnered with game manufacturer, Play’n Go, to add riveting slots to its online casino platform.
The new addition of sl0ts should put the operator well over 600 game titles. – hopefully allowing the platform to rise in the ever-competitive landscape of online casinos in New Jersey.
The two companies teaming up should give PlayStar Casino NJ a boost in the Garden State, as Play’n Go features exciting games in its arsenal.
PlayStar, Play’n Go ‘viewed as a key partnership’
According to a press release, the agreement between the two companies is a big deal. It’s considered to be “viewed as a key partnership” among NJ online casinos.
PlayStar now has the luxury of adding Play’n Go’s most popular slots, which include:
- Reactoonz
- Rich Wilde
- Book of Dead
- Rise of Olympus
- Raging Rex 2
- Legion Gold
Magnus Olsson, Chief Commercial Officer at Play’n GO, said in a statement:
“Play’n GO has long-since established itself as one of the most sought-after providers in the iGaming industry and partnering with an up-and-coming brand like PlayStar will help us significantly boost our exposure in the New Jersey market.
“Our current collection of over 360 premium titles includes some of the most-played games of all time, and we’ll be bringing the very best of that line-up to PlayStar over the coming weeks. We’re really excited about this partnership and can’t wait to hear how our titles are received by players.”
Playstar looking to regain momentum
PlayStar has grown since the start of the year. However, over the last couple of months, the operator has lost momentum. Here’s the company’s revenue total month-by-month:
- January: $1.5 million
- February: $1.6 million
- March: $1.8 million
- April: $2.4 million
- May: $2 million
- June: $1.9 million
While PlayStar certainly is not FanDuel nor DraftKings, however, it holds its own in the Garden State in terms of NJ online gambling revenue. In April, the operator ranked 11th out of 31 platforms. While revenue has dipped the last three months, its looking to regain the April mojo.
The partnership with Play’n Go should help.
“We’re very proud of the incredible popularity PlayStar has enjoyed since launching In New Jersey – and one of the key components of that success has been always ensuring that we offer the very best in casino content to our customers,” Dan Alexander, COO at PlayStar, said.
“Partnering with Play’n GO will allow us to double down on this proposition in the Garden State by enabling us to provide fan-favorite titles like Reactoonz and Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead on our platform and we’re sure players are going to love discovering what the studio is all about.”
Adding these new titles should easily put the platform back over the $2 million threshold, which would make for a fruitful partnership.
