Actress Vanessa Hudgens Is BetMGM’s Newest Brand Ambassador

BetMGM just announced a new partnership between the NJ online gaming provider and famed actress Vanessa Hudgens. The operator adds Hudgens to its already lengthy roster as a celebrity brand ambassador for the company’s betting apps.

The well-known gambling brand is making lots of moves in the marketing space recently. It struck a deal with NBC Sports for the 2022 NFL season, in addition to rolling out a new ad campaign featuring Jamie Foxx.

The company’s NJ online sportsbook debuted in 2018 originally as PlayMGM, while the BetMGM online casino platform entered the market the year prior.

Now, along with plenty of other sports stars, Hudgens receives part of the BetMGM marketing spotlight going forward.

BetMGM continues its new wave of advertisements by implementing the versatile Hudgens into its lineup of ambassadors. The American actress made her debut in the operator’s “It’s On” spot, which also highlighted many other parts of the BetMGM team.

In just this commercial alone, Hudgens provides the winning formula after an appearance from each of the following:

  • Jamie Foxx
  • Kevin Garnett
  • Wayne Gretzky
  • Jalen Rose
  • Barry Sanders
  • Marshawn Lynch

While Hudgens doesn’t offer the sports expertise like some of these former greats, she knows entertainment. After expanding her talents to the big screen in recent years, the actress and singer gives the gaming provider the star power it wants.

BetMGM has expressed its desire to be different than others by supplying entertainment factors alongside its online casino and sportsbook. Besides marketing campaigns, Hudgens is set for involvement with various BetMGM promotions and social media content.

The operator’s Chief Revenue Officer, Matt Prevost, discussed more about its latest addition. Prevost said:

“Vanessa Hudgens is extremely gifted and will be instrumental in BetMGM’s ongoing evolution as an entertainment company. We look forward to the partnership and her support in our goal of reaching new audiences in unique and engaging ways.”

Many recognize Hudgens from her early days on the cinema screen during her time as Gabriella Montez in the “High School Musical” series of movies.

The performer has taken her talents to the next level, as she is now in a range of feature films. Some of these include “Spring Breakers,” “Bad Boys for Life,” and the hit “Tick, Tick… Boom!” most recently.

Aside from acting on screen, Hudgens is well versed when it comes to Broadway shows, as well. She participated in live productions like the musical “Gigi”, as well as TV specials for FOX. Hudgens appeared in both “Grease: Live” and “Rent: Live” on the network.

She also does plenty of work outside of acting and producing.

Hudgens is considered an entrepreneur for launching a number of new brands. She co-founded Caliwater, KNOW Beauty, and Thomas Ashbourne Craft Spirits.

The 33-year-old has a massive audience on social media (over 47 million followers on Instagram) and is popular across lots of different age groups. She is likely to spread BetMGM’s messages to a bunch of individuals not directly tied to the sports and gaming world.
