The Philadelphia Eagles are in the Super Bowl, and Atlantic City’s proximity to Philadelphia means the casinos are going to be packed for the big game and running promotions to draw in the crowds. Ocean Casino Resort tops the list for the festivities with a smorgasbord of food and drink specials at its bars and restaurants. You’ll also find a slots tournament at Resorts, a special buffet at Bally’s, raffles at Hard Rock, and more.

New Jersey retail casinos are found only in Atlantic City, which is an extension of the Greater Philadelphia area. So this Super Bowl has a lot more meaning than most, as the Philadelphia Eagles are taking on the Kansas City Chiefs for the second time in three years.

Each casino has big plans for the Big Game on Sunday, many of these focusing on what is, effectively, the hometown team. Ocean Casino Resort has tons of options for Eagles fans, and football fans, to watch the action.

The casino is holding multiple, separate viewing parties throughout the building, which include the following places:

  • 1927 Lounge
  • The Gallery Bar, Book & Games
  • Nola’s Bar & Lounge
  • Villain & Saint

Only 1927 Lounge does not offer food service during the game. These four locations offering the following drink specials:

  • Eagles Emerald ($15): Bombay sapphire gin, green chartreuse, lime juice, simple syrup, mint leaves, club soda & garnished with mint sprig and lime wedge
  • Fly Eagles Fly ($15): Raspberry vodka, blue curacao, orange, pineapple and lemon juice
  • Big Red ($14): Teremana silver, pomegranate and lime juice, triple sec, simple syrup
  • The Arrowhead ($15): Bulleit rye, ginger beer, bitters, lemon juice

The Gallery and Balcony Bar is another spot fans can watch the game. It is a 100-foot elevated bar and lounge, including 59 seats, 12 slot machines and table games, along with a 140-foot LED walls. The venue is offering the following seating options, with chips and salsa, soft pretzels and beer buckets included:

  • 1 Gallery View Table (2-4 people): $400
  • 3 Soft Seating Groups: $150-$300
  • High Top Tables (seats 2-4): $200

Resorts Casino hosting slots tournament on Super Bowl Sunday

Resorts Atlantic City wants to make your entire Super Bowl Sunday worth it by holding a slots tournament. From 6 a.m. until 6:15 p.m., customers can swipe their player’s card at the promo kiosk and answer five questions to win $100 worth of slot play.

From noon until 4 p.m., the casino is holding a $3,000 slots tournament, in which football-themed prizes will be given out to the winners. Customers must earn eight tier points to qualify.

In addition, Resorts also has tons of food options for the game. The retail DraftKings Sportsbook is providing the following specials:

  • $2 Washington Apple Shots
  • $3 Miller Light & Yuengling Drafts
  • $6 Domestic Bottles
  • $12 Domestic Pitchers
  • $20 Buckets of 6 Domestic Bottles

XO Bar/ Bar One is offering similar deals, too:

Then, Margaritaville & Landshark is including the Football Feeding Frenzy, where customers can choose between wings and chicken tenders and then choose two of the following:

  • Basket of fries
  • Fried pickles

  • Tortilla chips with salsa and queso

The price for that meal is $29.99, or get everything for $49.99.

A buffet at Bally’s

Since the Bally Bets Sportsbook is sold out for the game, the resort came up with another event for visitors. The Yard is going to be holding a buffet of delicious food. It will also serve enticing beer specials, and a game day cocktail menu including a midnight green option to celebrate the Eagles.

There is no charge for admission, as the game-day buffet is available for $35 per person. It was important for Paul Juliano, Senior Vice President and Regional General Manager for Bally’s, to set up another event for loyal guests. He said in a statement:

“We want to make sure that every fan has the opportunity to enjoy The Big Game in a vibrant atmosphere. The Yard allows us to accommodate more guests in an outstanding venue filled with great food, drinks, and camaraderie.”

Other plans for Atlantic City casinos

Borgata Atlantic City is offering a fancy option for football fans, holding an event at the popular Premier Nightclub. For $89, guests are treated to seats and a buffet. Premium tables are available for $850, too.

Borgata also has a retail BetMGM Sportsbook as a more traditional option. It’s an 8,000-square-foot area that features a high-definition LED video wall and six betting windows.

Hard Rock Casino is raffling off a prize worth $100 at halftime of the game, and offering the following drink specials:

  • Bucket of Beer: 5 for $25 or 25 for $100
  • Pick 2 for $25 | 3 for $35 | 4 for $45

Harrah’s Atlantic City is featuring the Super Bowl Splash at The Pool. A $30 general admission ticket includes a buffet, games, a DJ and jersey giveaways. Caesars Atlantic City is hosting a similar Sunday Splash, too.

Golden Nugget recently updated its new retail sportsbooks just in time for the Super Bowl. The casino offers “state-of-the-art technology” with new betting markets.
